I did thanks, Moonie.

They are going on holiday at the end of the month and Mr Yogi was printing off their online check-in stuff for them.

That's good

Oh, well done Mr Yogi

He can be very helpful.................sometimes.

Norty

Moonie

Good morning everyone

It was sunny here first thing but it's clouded over. Dry at present but rain forecast by the afternoon.

Squiggle, I think you may be right about the weather

I hope your grandson's visit to the dentist is OK.

I saw The Mentalist last night and saw someone I thought I recognised but hadn't seen in years. So I checked and confirmed that it was who I thought - Meg Foster. She appeared in quite a few films in the 70s & 80s and was the original Cagney in Cagney and Lacey before Sharon Gless replaced her. She has extraordinary pale blue eyes which make her stand out from other people. By coincidence yesterday was her 65th birthday so a belated happy birthday to her.

El Loro

Good morning everyone. Weather is wet and quite windy this morning.

Squiggle, hope everything goes well at the dentists for your grandson.

El, I was a big fan of Cagney and Lacey and remember Meg Foster as the original Cagney. Her pale blue eyes were very striking. I must admit, I much preferred Sharon Gless as Cagney.

I'm nipping out for some bird seed later, and have some ironing to catch up on, Otherwise, I am hoping for a chill-out day. *crosses fingers*

Have a good day everyone.

I've read that work on improving Gloucester railway station for disabled and elderly people has just been completed. After a 173 year wait, there is a new lift and other measures to improve access.

One of the platforms is so long that it counts as 2 platforms. It's the second longest platform in the country. They've now built a covered walkway between the two so that people don't get wet when it's raining.

El Loro

Hi Moonie, what are you up to today?

173 year wait!  Gloucestershire folk must be very patient, El.

I've been to Costco to stock up on meat and chicken for my big freezer. On the way home, we stopped off at a place called Buffet World. They have an "all you can eat" buffet meal and you can mix and match between Indian, Chinese, Italian, Japanese and Thai food and it's only ÂĢ6.99 per head. They do reserve the right to add a surcharge of ÂĢ5 per person, if you take lots of food and don't eat it - which seems fair enough to me. It was yummy!

She's still the full shilling though

Have they given her something for the vertigo (doctor sounds a bit of a plank).

I hope she feels less light headed once she's had a lie down.

She's lucky she has you to look after her.

I agree, how pathetic of whoever did it

At first, I thought the recent wind had blown the petals off, but there isn't a petal to be seen in the garden. They have definiitely had their heads pulled off.

Ipad is still charging, so I've resorted to using my laptop.

That's very true

You can still come on but have your blinkers on, then you wont be tempted
