Hi Sweet  best not mention the "d" word

 Good advice, Moonie.

I don't know what's in the parcel. It's addressed to Mr Yogi but he usually mentions if he is expecting a parcel (and phones me to ask, "has it arrived yet"?), but he hasn't mentioned anything. I'm intrigued though, because it looks like it might be little tyres - too small to fit anything we have! My guess is that one of my sons have bought them and just thought 'I'll get them delivered to mum's, as she is always in'.

I really would throttle him if he bought me one of those.

You have reminded me of a suggestion Mr Yogi once made to our middle son, who, as a young teenager, did a Sunday newspaper round. Sunday papers tend to have more pages than daily ones and the bags were very heavy. Mr Yogi suggested it would be easier (and more papers could be carried) if son used a shopping trolley to carry them! You can imagine how well that suggestion went down with a teenage boy.

Hope the sun stays out long enough for you to go to the shops.

Off to prep tonight's meal, see you all later.

Yep, sunshine all the way and still some now

Oh, what you cooking up tonight Yogi?

It's fascinating, squiggle

Claude Friese-Greene was an important pioneer in the development of colour film. The BBC had a series of some of his work some time ago working with the BFI in a joint collaboration. The BFI have a DVD of this:

His father was William who was one of the pioneers of early film. His life was made into the film The Magic Box starring Robert Donat.
