I'm happy with the result, she cut it exactly as I asked.

Summer, you can do a jump with your twirl, as long as I don't have to.

Hi Moonie, how did you get on with the workmen, is your door fixed?

Hiya Yogi

Nice hairdo

The lock was fixed less than 6 hours after I reported it. I was on emergency though but usually emergencies take several weeks with our council

Nevertheless I was thud though

I bet you are glad to have it sorted though.

It's to do with the Proms this year. Cerys Matthews, Laura Marling and The Stranglers will be in a concert for Radio 6 and the Daleks will be in a Doctor Who prom though I doubt if they will be singing.

You want to hope the Daleks aren't singing!

Awww

Just think of the results of your abstentions to come though Yogi

I need to find a pic from my slim days and stick it on the fridge.

Apparently that helps a lot of people with their diets Yogi

The Sony World Photography Awards for 2013 have been announced and you can see some of the winning photographs on this BBC page:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/in-pictures-22307261

The first two are by Andrea Gjestvang who won the top prize for her series of photographs called One Day in History. Although I think you may like the first photograph a lot, there is a real sadness in the photograph. The series of photographs is taken of people who survived the appalling massacre on the island in Norway in July 2011.

The third photograph is the winner of the Open competition. Hoang Hiep Nguyen is a 21 year amateur who has only been photographing for a year. If you recognise the photograph it is because it's the one I posted here some time ago as I thought it was amazing.

She's much better today. I had intended to starve her for 24 hours but she was starving by 7pm last night and was wearing her most irresistible pleading face, so I boiled some rice and added a tiny bit of chicken for her. She has had a big bowl of porridge this morning and, so far, all is well.

She has always had a weak digestive system.

Atm, she can see the sun shining through the windows and is nagging to go into the garden to sunbathe. I have a tanorexic dog!

Yogi19

Yogi, where I live one of the neighbours has a tanorexic cat who when it's warm and sunny tends to lie on top of my car

I'm glad Keira's better

Here, the threatening clouds seem to have gone away so it's quite a pleasant day though not particularly warm out there.

When I went to M&S I had a look at the "Fragrant White Chicken Korma" which won the Food Glorious Food competition a few days ago.

I didn't get it as it was a bit too large for one helping for me but it is not your typical korma. A Korma curry is generally regarded as the mildest of curries but this one has a 3 chilli sign on it showing that it is a lot spicier than normal.

It's a limited edition but you will be able to make your own as a book of the recipes in the series is be available.
