I hope you have succeeded in chasing up your client, El. You would think it was in her best interests to supply you with the relevant info, without you having to chase her up.

Squiggle, I'm sure you are right and the dogs would like to stay together all the time, and I guess it's nice for them to be with their own kind.

We've had really heavy rain, and it's still pouring. I got soaked running from the car to the newsagents, which was only a few metres in distance. I hope it's better where you are.

I should think she'd want to get her accounts in as soon as her year end occurs, I would, for peace of mind that it's done. And of course, if there's any errors made, it gives you plenty of time to correct them. I hope she gets in touch soon El Squiggle & yogi, I would love another little dog for Bramble, it's not practical yet to raise another but in the long term I do hope we can have 2 MIL's car passed it's MOT, she only uses it once a week so I'm not surprised lol My turn next week
~Sparkling Summer~

A different client to the above has just dropped his papers off for me to do the VAT return. So I can do that and then on Monday I'm off to see the client who lives in the middle of nowhere (the one who got bit by blandford flies) to get the records so that will keep me busy.

Summer, good news re MIL's car. I hope yours gets the all clear next week.

I bought Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire puddings on Sunday. I usually make my own.

Good morning everyone

For absent friends

Still windy here and heavy showers forecast.

Horrible news from Texas this morning . It seems that there was a fire at the fertiliser plant and the fire resulted in a tank full of ammonia exploding destroying homes and buildings in the surrounding area. At present it looks as if it's being regarded as an accident but....

Xochi's picture doesn't appear on my computer for some reason. You can see it here:

It's quite amusing

Good morning everyone. It is very windy up here.

I like the doggy cartoon, Xochi. Thanks for posting the link to it, El.

Awful news about the fire/explosion in Texas.  News says there are several confirmed casualties and more than 100 people injured.

Oh my word, that would have been a very interesting meeting indeed, El!

I echo your sentiments, El, and leave hugs for absent friends.

Good morning everyone, very very windy here.  Awful news about the explosion in Texas, I do hope it is just a coincidence and not the start of a bombing campaign over in America.

I love that little dog, thank you Xochi   I feel a bit like that owl this morning.  It's ages since I made a yorkshire pudding, I usually get the fresh ones from M & S they are lovely.

 Will she get you back?

He had one of those Russian furry hats looking like this (without the badge):

So I placed it on the floor and put a saucer of milk by it
