Lol yogi I do sometimes do a stupid dance to entertain bramble while I'm doing housework I'd buy grumpy coffee! I had Ryvita with cottage cheese,followed by a Weighwatchers yoghurt.

 

The weather has brightened up a bit here, but there is still a cold wind.

I had a M&S chicken in red wine sauce ready meal with potatoes and beans.

That sounds so much more appetising than crispbreads with cottage cheese.

Both sound tasty to me I ended up having an aunt Bessie's toad in the hole, I had forgotten that I'd bought some Mr summer wants to do kettlebell after work so I said I'd join him, that lunch will keep me going til then It's lovely to be off, and I've nothing to rush around for

It does , I had a Baxters soup, very nice and it has lots of beans for my tum oh a mini Cathedral Cheddar cheese.

I love beans squiggle!

Summer, if you do a google search you can find that there are recipes for pancakes made using beans.

Are they lemon & sugar beans by any chance..?

No, they seem to be more of the savory type, Though there are some which use vanilla bean extract but that's not really what I think of as beans

Good morning everyone, I agree such awful news about the Boston marathon, and with the London one just around the corner on Sunday.  They will have to be extra vigilant.  Hard to get your head round the mind set of the people who take pleasure in killing indiscriminately, babies, toddlers, pregnant women, young men and women with their lives ahead of them they just don't care

I'm surprised it's taken this long for complaints to be made about the state of the A40 littered with potholes. It's on the outer lane on the stretch going towards Cheltenham after the motorway exit and had been bad for several weeks. I go that way every time I go to Cheltenham and have taken to staying in the inner lane as long as possible until I need to move to the outer lane (which is the preferred lane for vehicles going to the centre of Cheltenham). Apparently the county council inspection teams consider the stretch to be safe. I suppose they are waiting for a major pileup to occur before they decide to do anything.

evening! I can't believe how fast the day has gone It's been sunny but really windy again and it's hard work walking in it. SIL came over with 1 of her dogs and we went for a walk, then we went out for lunch with her daughter (who's only a couple of years younger than myself) and wandered around the shops. I actually bought a top and a pair of shoes! Mr summer is cooking chilli and it smells amazing Has everyone enjoyed the day? I couldn't agree more about the terrorist attacks, and it utterly baffles me how they can believe what they're doing is for holy reasons surely when they face god, he won't be applauding them for such actions!

Oh yes yogi, bramble had the time if her life as usual, and after they'd gone, she howled!!!!! Turns out that Stream did the same back at SIL's house

 Keira and Harvey just sulk and sigh.

Aw lol they're best friends aren't they! Usually, bramble & stream have time to play, then snuggle up & snooze together after a walk but we were going out right after so separated them pretty swiftly. Hopefully it won't be too long before they're together again

 I bet they look so cute when they are snuggled up for a snooze.
