I got Scottish footie on at the mo followed by English footie at 2.00. Then German, Italian and finally American footie

Trying to watch catch up 'The Village' but my teevo box is playing up. Anyone watch it? Was it any good?

Lol yogi good on ya! It's been too long since I saw a miss marple, if I wasn't hooked on a stupid reality show that mr summer got me in to last night, I'd tune in! What teams are you cheering on today moonie?

I was going to watch it then forgot about it. I could watch it on catch-up but I have three episodes of Broadchurch and two of Dr Who as well as Transporter and Ghost Rider to catch up on

I do have the heating on, but he never feels the cold, so he'll be sweltering up there. Don't worry Moonie, there's a big ceiling fan if he starts to melt.

Summer, the painting is based on the story The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. It's the story of a boy - Kay and a girl - Gerda who live next door to each other and are close friends. Kay is kidnapped by the Snow Queen and taken far away. Gerda is determined to go and rescue Kay and bring him home.

Somehow that furniture doesn't look to have a long life to it, looks like it might just soften up again one day.

 

I loved the Snow Queen story when I was a child.

I think I need to read some hans christian anderson! How his stories have so far eluded me, is a mystery I've climbed in to a fresh bed so sweetest of dreams to you all it's been another lovely week chatting to you all for night owls, yogi I hope you sleep well

Very cloudy here but dry at present. No frost overnight and looks as if winter may be finally over in my area though temperatures still a bit below average. Likely to be quite a lot of rain this week.

 

I doubt very much if I would buy any of the furniture I posted about. They look weird.

Good morning everyone, cold and grey here sadly.  You are in for a treat reading some of the old fairy stories Summer, the steadfast tin soldier was one of my favourites, I don't know why but I found it very touching.

 

Some bills to pay this morning so I'd better get cracking.
