Good morning everyone. Very chilly but no snow atm.
I think the East coast is to get the worst of the snow, so I hope Skylark and Summer are okay.
Flying visit as I have visitors arriving soon, catch up later.

Squiggle, the link you are looking for:
For obvious reasons I'm unlikely to ever look at the site let alone buy anything
And oddly enough I'm no expert on the subject of facials
If you have a few moments you might want to have a look at some photos which have won Sony World Photography Awards on this BBC link:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/in-pictures-21828015
They cover a very wide range of subjects and not all will appeal to you. Of the 13 photos, I found the first to be the most breathtaking but I have seen similar photos. But I found the fourth one (the girl in the wind) to be truly astonishing and artistic.
I've been able to track down the photo elsewhere at a larger size:
Thanks Summer and EL, I had managed to track down some Planet Spa products on eBay so I will definitely be trying that home facial. When the Spring comes I feel the need to leave the grey old Winter skin behind and emerge glowing and new
Don't we all Squiggs
Unfortunately Spring's teasing us at the mo.
Hi all,

We do indeed Velvet, whether we manage it or not is, as they say, another matter entirely And how are you this fine Spring morning?

Not bad Squiggle.
Mum ain't too good so I have to be on my toes. But that's an aside.
Hope you're doing well though - always look in to see how things are
It's always lovely to see you sad to hear about your Mum.
I like you Squiggle
That's all you need to know.
I'll be in for an ear trim shortly Sweet
I had the flames in Turkey
Didnae know it was an adventure holiday.

Thank you Velvet, it means a lot, please give a little hug to your Mum from me
Had my mum and dad over for a visit. They wanted to come over early incase the snow appears later.
Skylark, I hope you don't get soaked when you are out.
Summer, I love the cake, it's very apt.
Sorry to hear your mum is unwell, I hope she feels better soon, Velvet.
Thank you for my thread Squiggle, it was a lovely surprise.
I'm off to check out the link with the pics, El.
You're very welcome, as a little extra a bouquet of one of my favourite flowers

Thank you, they are beautiful.
I am having a nice day, thanks Summer.
They are cornflowers Summer, although they look a little looser in shape than I remember. I first came across cornflowers when I was a bridesmaid at my brother's wedding, I was 10 and was given a posy of cornflowers to carry, I thought they were beautiful.
I chose Turkish Thermal Baths Rhassoul Clay Face Mask and African Shea Butter Luxurious Facial.
The Avon lady called tonight so I will have a look through the brochure at the face masks.
Had a lovely day and am now toddling off to bed.
Goodnight all, sleep well.
Hug for Summer, in case you are night owling.

Glad you had a lovely day Yogi
Nite nite. Sleep well
Good morning everyone. Damp weather with lots of low cloud.
Sorry I just missed you last night, Moonie.
Love the Hoot Hoot pic.
Fingers crossed you get to be a bridesmaid someday soon, Summer.
I love sweet peas and grow them in the garden each year, they are such delicate and pretty flowers. Where did you buy your sweet pea candle?
Isn't it lovely that no matter how rubbish your day has been, you always get a great welcome from your dog to cheer you up? Dogs are brilliant!
Youngest son is coming for dinner tonight. I miss my baby.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
A blanket of cloud here but dry. May brighten up later.
Summer, I usually plant the sweet peas at the end of March. I keep them indoors until the end of May, when the risk of frost is over. Last year, I grew "Royal Family Mix" which had a nice scent. This year, I have one called "Twilight" which looks very pretty on the packet.
Squiggle, I have some cornflower seeds which I am going to plant this year.
Like mum doing his ironing.
lol @ the pic of Bramble "gardening".
Good morning everyone, much cloudier here this morning. I loved the sweet pea picture so much I have downloaded it, it occurs to me it would make a beautiful background for a birthday card. Sweet peas are one of my favourite flowers and I love their scent. I am glad you are sowing cornflowers Yogi.
Summer I loved being a bridesmaid, I wore a white satin dress, my sister was also a bridesmaid she wore an identical dress to the bride only in blue brocade rather than white. I fell in love with this little headdress I saw in a shop and nagged until I was allowed to wear it I'll see if I can add a picture to fill you in
Summer you would have to judge with the cakes, I wouldn't think it would take much longer to bake 2 rather than 1. Just keep testing the cakes once the normal time for 1 is up.
Lovely picture of Bramble gardening. What is your joiner going to be tackling Summer?
What a lovely picture, Squiggle.
What a lovely picture squiggle x
Glad you had a nice Birthday Yogi, enjoy your son,s visit x
@Bramble
