Aww, I bet the little ones were so cute. Did you get all weepy? I always did.

Hi Yogi, yes its hard not to. Although i got a bit of a scolding from granddaughter for putting a note in the box, i was told to put in money, not paper! I tried to tell her it WAS money, but she wasnt having any of it! Dont know why, she comes to the shops with me often and sees paper money She may have thought it was a coin day!

Glad to read you have been getting on with the spare room.

Wait until she's a wee bit older. I remember youngest son (aged 5) telling us he didn't want coins, he wanted paper money!

Yes she will be the same no doubt!

Good morning everyone

Wet night here and still raining, supposed to ease off a bit later.

Summer, at your early worm catches the bird picture. I've pinched the pancake 5 from the top as that was the yummiest . Sorry I couldn't put the top 4 back quite right and I hope they don't topple over- leaning tower of pancakes and all that.

Summer, it is true that there is no mention of cats in the Bible. One of the books I found in my parents house was a book called "Bible Animals" which confirms this.

There were domestic cats at that time most notably in Egypt. There is a reference to cats in the Apocrypha but this is probably a reference to Egyptians having idols in the shape of cats. The Apocrypha consists of texts which were excluded from the Bible as we know.

The reference is in the book of Baruch chapter 6:

21 Owls, and swallows, and other birds fly upon their bodies, and upon their heads, and cats in like manner.

22 Whereby you may know that they are no gods. Therefore fear them not

Hi Moonie, how are you today?

Hiya Yogi  I'm okay fankoo, hows you?
I see you're having some weather

Day has been eventful - and not in a particularly good way, but tomorrow is another day

Weather has been rubbish though.
