Is it A Winter Flame, or does she have another one out?
The site is slow for me and I'm getting cogs, so I'm going to sign out.
Goodnight Summer, sweet dreams.
Good morning everyone
Slightly frosty morning here, fairly sunny, forecast to get cloudier with light rain by evening.
Skylark, I,m no car mechanic. The coolant system work was ÂĢ170, and if I had done than myself it would have been considerably cheaper. The cost of the tyres at ÂĢ62 each was typical for standard tyres. I could have saved a few pounds by getting budget ones but I choose not to.
Good morning everyone, how exciting, here is a link to the official publisher page for Milly Johnson http://authors.simonandschuste...lly-Johnson/65784483
You can become a fan and be updated and on one of the links I followed it said there was a list of upcoming dates but it was still blank.
Good luck and good luck too with tracking down the Hello Kitty cake!
I quite agree EL cheap tyres is a foolish gamble IMO. My hubby used to have a horror of those remoulded tyres, I don't even know if you can still buy them, but they were just that - tyres that had had new rubber moulded onto them and he used to point out huge bits of rubber on the motorways that had been shed from these awful things.
I would never get remould tyres. I think you can still get them but they are less safe than regular tyres.
A local news story today which combines a couple of local news stories I've recently mentioned:
Mental health bosses are not planning redundancies when Gloucester prison closes at the end of March.
Healthcare provided by 2gether NHS Foundation Trust (2gether) at HMP Gloucester will conclude at the end of March. This follows the announcement from the Ministry of Justice that HMP Gloucester will close at the same time.
Visiting healthcare staff at the prison for the last time, Richard Graham MP said: âI was delighted to see Marieanne Bubb-McGhee (Service Manager) and members of the Prison healthcare team again in HMP Gloucester last Friday.
âThe last Inspector's report showed very clearly, the extraordinary human achievements of the healthcare team and how they are working with prisoners. I've seen glimpses over the years of how difficult this can be so the team should go out with real pride in what they've achievedâ.
Shaun Clee, 2getherâs Chief Executive, said: âWe are all extremely proud of our staff and the services we provide at HMP Gloucester. The team is dedicated, uniquely skilled and committed to their service users.â
In 2012, a report from the Care Quality Commission noted that 2getherâs Prison Healthcare Team met all essential quality and safety standards in the Prison. People responding to a recent Care Quality Commission survey âexpressed a high level of satisfaction with the health services offered.â
Shaun Clee continued: âThroughout the recent uncertainty, at a personal level, prison healthcare colleagues have continued to make sure that our service users continue to receive the highest level of care and treatment. It is testimony to their dedication and professionalism that they remain helpful, co-operating and supportive to those around them, in extremely difficult times.
âOur aim is to make every effort to help maximize and retain valuable skills within the county and we are working alongside local health and social care colleagues to identify all suitable opportunities. Working together with union representatives, colleagues will be fully supported in their ongoing career choices.â
Richard Graham MP continued: âI'm delighted that the NHS family is rallying around and to help secure local jobs for members of this highly qualified and experienced team. That is exactly what the NHS in Gloucestershire should be doing and it was good to hear it was working well in practice.â
He concluded: âAll good fortune to each member of the team. You may be split up and go different ways but I suspect all of you will remember your time at HMP Gloucester.â
A trust spokeswoman confirmed 47 of its staff work there currently. "We are working with our staff to find alternative employment both within the trust and in the local health community," she said. "We do not plan to make any redundancies."
Summer, my contribution to your question about brass elsewhere, not that it's got anything whatsoever to do with your question
Evening all. Been in bed all day with sickness and bad stomach spasms. I'd just been saying that everything had stabilised but it seems I spoke too soon.
Summer, I think El was referring to your thread about your MiL's brass items.
Mr Yogi was buying two new tyres for his car today. You should all have got together to see if they would have given a discount on a bulk buy.
Hope to be back to normal tomorrow.
Hubby was off today and he took good care of me, thanks Summer.
I'm going to go back to sleep now but should be fine in the morning. See you then.
Good morning everyone.
Summer, thank you for the flowers, they are beautiful. The puppy is cute, too. I am feeling a lot better today.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
Yogi, I'm glad you are feeling better today
Quite a grey day here weatherwise.
Good morning everyone, Yogi I hope you are feeling much better this morning - that blessed illness, you can never tell when it's going to flare up again
Thank you for the beautiful flowers, Squiggle.
I didn't sleep too well last night but I had slept for a couple of hours during the day, Summer.
I have finally managed to see Sunday's episode of Call The Midwife and I am surprised how much I am missing Chummy. I hope she is back soon.
Yogi, I've seen elsewhere that Chummy returns at the end of this series. This differs from the books as Chummy went to Africa permanently but the writers changed that to keep her in the series.

I'm glad she is coming back, as she is one of my favourite characters - thanks El.
Hi all Sorry you not been too well Yogi, hope you are feeling better today
Yes i have seen Hello Kitty cakes too, but now i want one i wont be able to find one
Been feeling very tired today, think we need some warm sunny weather to cheer us up!
I warmed to Chummy too
Thanks squiggle x
I was away from the computer, came back and a notice was on saying..Danger Will Robinson from Social Strata .something about spamming
Hi Summer, oh dear hope you have a good rest x We have been lucky here with very little snow for a change!
I have no idea what that message meant, but i am sure El will explain all tomorrow.
Having a long lie in tomorrow, not that i sleep much, but i do like to make a cuppa and go back to bed on a Saturday morning.Bliss
Wont let me edit! Off now, hope you have a good rest Summer, and hope Yogi, you are ok tomorrow. Just been listening to the news about this horsemeat fiasco. I dont eat ready meals from any company or shops, thank goodness. These reports are shocking, and rather nauseating
Goodnight all x
Good morning everyone
Overcast and damp here.
Skylark, I know nothing about that strange message you received and I don't think it's a normal message. I think you need to raise a query about this in the Social Strata help forum http://help.socialstrata.com/ giving as much information about the message as you can.
Good morning everyone. It's a wee bit foggy here.
i slept we'll last night and feel back to normal now.
Summer, my son's gf goes to the gym and snowboards too. I gave her some L'occitane lavender bath gel when her muscles were aching and she said it helped.
Lovely breakfast, thank you.
I hope everyone is well, have a good day.
Good morning everyone, Yogi I am glad you are feeling recovered. Hope you slept well Summer and that the aches and pains are gone, you are very sensible and know just what to do when your back starts hurting Skylark I hope you are having a lovely lie-in with your cuppa, what a strange message, no doubt the techy guys at Social Strata will get it all sorted - dives into yummy breakfast, thanks Summer
I hope you will have a look at Pirate's thread and be prepared to sign the petition. Skylark and I have already done so.
Skylark, I have found out that the phrase "Danger, Will Robinson" is a quote from the television series "Lost in Space". What I don't know is why you got such a message. A Google search indicates that it has been used in spam messages. The chances are that the message has nothing to do with Social Strata and that a computer somewhere in the world had become a botnet and is churning these messages around the world. If you clicked on the message then your computer might become a botnet as well.
I have signed EL - and there is a sinister sound to that message because if I remember back in the mists of time as well as Danger Will Robinson there was another famous phrase from that series It Does Not Compute, hope you didn't click on any link Skylark. Maybe do a scan of your computer to check.
I hope you will have a look at Pirate's thread and be prepared to sign the petition. Skylark and I have already done so.
I've signed, El.
Skylark, I hope your computer is okay, after your Danger Will Robinson message.
It's bubble bath and DVD time, so I'll wish you all a goodnight,
Sweet dreams everybody.
Summer, leaving you a night owl hug.
