Exactly, Squiggle.

Skylark, Virgin also ask you for letters from your password when they call you to offer new packages - I always refuse. One girl tried to reassure me that she was a genuine Virgin employee by telling me how much my last bill was and the date I joined Virgin - only problem was, she got the date wrong. Needless to say, I refused to give her any info.

A film called Beasts of the Southern Wild has just been released in the UK. It's an independent American film and seems to be quite an exceptional film. It's a 12 certificate.

The reason for posting this is that the child is played by Quvenzhane Wallis who was 5 when she auditioned and 7 when filming ended. The film has already won some awards, and there is talk that Quvenzhane could be nominated for the Oscar for best actress. If she was nominated she would be the youngest ever nominee.

We'd be brilliant and with El managing our accounts, we'd be the dream team.

Will watch the clip later El, internet being playing up and only just got it settled, clicking on the clip may start it off again  (screen keeps freezing)

It's so odd this white van deliberately running people over in Cardiff.  My eldest grandson was run into by a white van in Ilfracombe early this afternoon, my grandson said he seemed to come right at him.  He drove over his foot and trying to get away he fell on his shoulder which he has dislocated before and it popped out again.

They had said at the hospital that once it dislocates it will be prone to do the same.  It took a while to get back in this time too.  This is the same grandson who had the accident with the bus earlier on in the year, poor little love.  Surely there can't be a connection between both incidents can there?  His foot is badly bruised, luckily he still had the crutches.  He is strong painkillers now, I hope that's the end of it for him, he's been through too much.

A very kind lady took him into her house, gave him a cup of tea and sent him to the local hospital in a taxi, people are very kind.

He couldn't make out the firm or the number plate, not surprising as the bloomin thing was on his foot, he banged hard on the bonnet and said the guy couldn't possibly not have known he had run him over.  If I had an inkling of who it was I would be onto the police myself as this surely is a reportable traffic accident.  My grandson said the lady came out and shouted at the van as he drove off, I hope the driver is shaking in his shoes.

I feel angry on his behalf, but I guess the important thing is that he recovers quickly.

I want to take a pair of shears to Gail's fringe.

Plus she seems to be talking like a child, very irritating !

I lurk on DS sometimes and they were all talking about the stupid voice she has been using recently.

evening, holy muck squiggle I'm glad your grandson wasn't hurt any more than he was, but that is still shocking! Is he ok? Shook up? I wonder if it could possibly be the same van! That's spooky even if its not I too can't stand being with our beloved Internet and like yogi, I do most of my xmas shopping on it I was impressed with your rant btw, good on ya! Been a busy day; work, errands, walkies.. Mr summer had 3 migraines this afternoon and has retreated to bed looking bushwhacked the poor thing I took my soiled duvet to the cleaners, and confessed what had happened, I had sprayed it with antibacterial stuff but still thought it the decent thing to do to warn them. They were fine with it and thanked me, most people don't bother apparently. I'd have been more embarrassed not telling them! Needless to say, Bramble was not allowed upstairs while I had my shower tonight

Good morning everyone

Sunny morning here and no sign of any fog.

Squiggle, I'm sorry to hear about your grandson I hope they catch the van driver who clearly should be banned from driving.

Summer, it takes nearly 3 hours to get from Ilfracombe to Cardiff, the Cardiff hit and runs started at just before 3.30 so unless Squiggle's grandson was hit at the very latest 1pm, it's probably not the same driver.

Good morning everyone. Weather was very foggy last night but is brighter this morning.

Summer, I'm sure the people in the dry cleaners appreciated you telling them about the stain. Is Mr summer feeling any better this morning? Migranes can be so debilitating, can't they?

Skylark, I had my toasted cheese (only one slice) and I did make the cheese bubbly - yummy!

Good morning everyone, what a treat to have some dry weather at last, the sky is icy blue this morning and there are white yachts sailing about on the sea, very pretty.

Summer I hope your bug is clearing up.  Yogi your cheese on toast sounds yummy, I have two pieces of cheese each week, I go for those mini cheddar things, just enough for a taste.  Enjoy your lovely lazy day Skylark.

EL from the sound of it I reckon my grandson would have been hit by that van before 1pm so it is certainly possible, although it sounds silly to think the guy would have driven all the way up the M5 and M4 without incident and gone to Cardiff.l

Enjoy your day everyone.
