It says the page isn't there - and I'm on my lappy.
Signing out now, goodnight everyone, sweet dreams.
Good morning everyone
A fairly sunny morning here, it looks as if the weather will be reasonably dry this coming week which should help the harvesting in this part of the country.
I've amended squiggle's link so it is now working - the article is worth reading
Good morning everyone, dry but cool here. I wonder why the link wasn't working EL? Anyway what a lovely story, hope you all enjoy it.
Good morning everyone. Another overcast morning.
Thanks for fixing the link, El. What a really lovely story, Squiggle.
Middle son phoned me last night and mentioned that the big garden centre near me is selling off last year's Christmas stock, at sale prices! I may need to visit the garden centre today.
Happy bargain hunting EL
Thought for the day
Squiggle, a phantom comma had found its way on to the end of your link. Once I had removed it, it worked OK.
These phantom commas are a menace to society
An interesting bit of information for any of you who watch Doctor Who. If you saw the opening episode of the new series on Saturday you might have been a bit puzzled as to why the actress who played the part of Oswin is not listed in the Radio Times (and probably the other magazines etc) in the credits. This was done deliberately.
Very big spoiler which I will put in white text so it doesn't appear. Highlight the following lines if you want to see what the spoiler is.
The part of Oswin is played by Jenna-Louise Coleman. This is not the last we see of Jenna-Louise Coleman as she plays the part of Clara who is the new assistant and will be first seen in the Christmas Day episode. I don't know if there is any connection between Oswin and Clara.
End of spoiler
Hi all x
Weather here been lovely. Granddaughter enjoyed her party. Seems all the kids in her nursery have birthdays one after another. Its just a round of parties!
Was hoping to take her to the firework display to end the festival, but she was too tired by that time (9pm)
Hope you all well x
I love this picture my caption is "Is it time for my close up?"
What a cheeky squirrel! Great pic, Squiggle.
I wonder why there are so many birthdays around the same time, Skylark? Maybe there were a lot of power cuts 4 years and nine months ago.
El, thumbs up for the spoiler. Youngest son is very, very happy about it.
Great pic squiggle
Mmm maybe you have something in that Yogi Her ladyship is planning her birthday now, who is coming etc and its not till next April

That's a great picture, squiggle
If you want to see the photographs in the current BBC Countryfile competition, this link takes you to a short video clip of the 12 photos. It's best to see this full screen. My own favourite is the 10th one with a spectacular rainbow.

I liked all of them, but my favourites were Winter Wanderers, Rainbow's End and Feed Me!

Aww
Thanks El, will look later, my comp on its obligatory go slow again x
Will say goodnight all, early morning again!
Goodnight Skylark, goodnight everyone.
Good morning everyone
A lovely sunny morning here though according to the weather forecast it's cloudy all day long.
Good morning everyone. Forecast seems to be correct this morning, i.e. windy, with a mixture of cloud and sunshine.
Summer, are the kids back at school in your area? I hope you aren't rushed off your feet today (although it is good for business).
Good morning everyone, cloudy grey and quite chilly here, definitely Autumn in the air.
Nearly the end of the mad back to school rush Summer so hopefully it will settle down again soon.
A bittersweet story, squiggle.
A walker in Dartmoor had seen the mare and foal 5 days before they arrived at the farm. He had taken the first two pictures as he was concerned and passed them to Charlotte Faulkner of the Dartmoor Pony Foundation. So they kept an eye out for the mare and foal but didn't see them again until they arrived at the farm.
Hi allx
Just a quick visit, got a busy day. Hope you all well, will try to be back later
I thought the mother showed great courage EL, those ponies never go in by themselves, they are rounded up annually to count and possibly brand the foals. She has thought it through and made a courageous decision, I can only hope she was not in too much pain as she made her final journey.
Aww, that made me .
Seen last Christmas on the Brecon Beacons
Can you imagine going out for a walk and coming across that lot?
^^^^ That's a shocker!
I hope you have a nice, relaxing chill-out day, tomorrow.
I love you too.
I've been doing my dog daycare today, and am happy to report there were no escapes.
Yes, he still checks out the perimeter, looking for an escape route.
I always rationed squeaky toys - or accidentally lost them. Luckily, as she got older, Keira developed a preference for soft toys (she has dozens of them).
