Off to bed, goodnight all, sweet dreams.
Good morning everyone
Sunny here at present, may be a shower later, wet tomorrow.
Summer, I have no idea as to who might be going in CBB. I hope none of the Olympic athletes go in as I don't think that would do their reputation any good. I think they will be wanting to spend time with their families and recharge their batteries.
Good morning everyone. A mix of clouds and sunshine, with showers forecast for this afternoon - and the rest of the week.
Good morning everyone, a bright cool morning here. I hope CBB turns out better than the ordinary BB was, I thought it was the worst contestants ever this year.
Twinkle twinkle little star - amazing picture, The Hubble Space Telescope captured the shot of what appears to be thousands of cameras flashing at once, but is in fact Messier 107, a cluster of stars which is the most ancient in the galaxy.
Squiggle, a stunning picture
I wonder if any of you can see a face looking to the right in the picture? It's near the top right, on my screen just over an inch from the top and 1 1/2 inches from the right.
Weather forecasters got it right, we've just had a heavy shower.
I love the star pic, Squiggle.
Summer, I still hate the Houdini fencing but I'm sure I'll get used to it - eventually!
El, I think I can see a face in the stars but I'm not sure it's the same one you can see.

Hi all x
Lovely picture, dont think i would have seen the face!
Yes washing all done Summer Son enjoyed his holiday but felt a fortnight was too long. Some dodgy characters were around so they felt a bit on guard all the time. Hotel staff were nice and friendly.
Hope you all well

Woohoo, that's the same one I spotted, El.
Hi Skylark. I have been washing my son's new holiday clothes today - he doesn't like the "new smell". Will be ironing and packing for him tomorrow.
Do you think our sons are wasted?

Hi Yogi, erm yes ! Hope he enjoys his holiday with his sparkly, nice smelling clothes! x
My son came back minus a few t-shirts. He met a young local boy on crutches because of a deformed leg. He took a liking to his t-shirts so he gave him some, probably too big but he was full of smiles. On the last day the lads gave him some money and a pile of fruit and sweets. I was like when he was telling me of the wee soul.
I am Summer, he has a kind heart.
Hows your day been?

Aww ,
Granddaughter went to see "Brave" today with nana, so had a quiet day! Not a film i particularly wanted to see. I dont like all this Scottish Braveheart nonsense.
She is off nursery this week, so looking for things to do with her.
Talking about books Sorted soon Summer
On another note i may have to stop watching Emmerdale . Paddy getting right up my nose. Leo is not his son
Skylark, I am going off Emmerdale. I don't like Laurel and Marlon together, I don't like what they are doing to Paddy's character and I hate the Mucky Moira and the toyboy storyline. Nearly forgot, I don't like the Chas and Dan storyline either.
My son and Dil are nipping in for a cuppa, so I may not be back tonight. Have a good evening all, and see you tomorrow.
I so agree Yogi!
Signing out too , son is back to work, up at 4am. Have a lovely evening everyone

I so agree with you both I was talking to the telly Horrible storylines in there at the moment. To be honest I have never liked Paddy and just wish he would push off to NZ with his horrible G/F, they have both treated Marlon like a mug. Fed up with the whole Eric triangle too and the new mum from hell who has arrived. One bright note, Marlon's son, that little boy playing his son really likes the actor who plays Marlon doesn't he?
Your son is very kind Skylark, I love that.
Night night to you both
Editted on request - hope I've got it right.
Check the post squiggle x
Good morning everyone, ooh two lovely pics to welcome us this morning. I am an early bird this morning, just about to pop in the shower so I will catch up later. Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone
Tucks into Summer's brekkie Yummy
Dry at present, but cloudy. The rain is coming with the heaviest around lunchtime. Tomorrow should be OK, but Friday looks as if it will be raining much of the day here.
The neighbours spent yesterday painting their walls, and look as if they have finished the first coat. If they are intending to do a second coat, I doubt if they can do it today.
Skylark, I hope your granddaughter liked Brave. I wonder how many young girls in Scotland will take up archery as a result of the film. I see on IMDB that one of the characters in it is called Lord MacGuffin. That name would mean little to a lot of people, but is a direct reference to Alfred Hitchcock's films.
From IMDB:
In fiction, particularly film, a MacGuffin refers to something that both the protagonist is trying to get, and the antagonist trying to prevent him getting. Alfred Hitchcock is credited with popularized the term by telling a story about two men sharing a compartment in a train. When the second man enters, he places a strange-looking contraption on the luggage rack overhead. The first man asks him what the contraption is. The second man says "It's a MacGuffin." First Man: "What's a MacGuffin?" Second Man: It's a device for trapping lions on the Scottish Highlands." First Man; "But there are no lions in the Scottish Highlands." Second Man: "Well, then, that's no MacGuffin."
Good morning everyone. It looks like sunshine and showers today.
Summer, I haven't had my breakfast yet and those pancakes are making my mouth water, thank you.*drools*
Somehow, I don't think my 30g of Bran Flakes will have the same effect.
But Yogi never forget that food online, however delicious, contains no calories Dives in happily to delicious brekkie, thanks Summer, your ladyship.
I've just had one of those computer is faulty phone calls again. I decided to play them at their game again and this time I was able to stretch this out for quite some time.
40 minutes
Did you "put them on hold" and play them nice music EL?
Through a bit of research based on the phone number they gave me (0191 6451 644) (which if you do a Google search the results all say this is a scam), the outfit ringing me appears to have been called Comantra.
So I did a search and found this Guardian article:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/tech...partner-accused-scam
When I asked for the name of the company he said something like Secure Hub.

Or put them on hold, while you put them through to your legal department.
At last Microsoft does something
