Good morning everyone. Weather is awful, it's very windy and pouring rain.
Summer, good luck with your walk and I hope the weather doesn't spoil your day.

Good morning everyone
Cloudy but brighter here than yesterday. Still quite windy, it's dry but showers forecast later today with more rain forecast overnight. Nailsworth weather site shows 112.8 mm so far this month so a wet month, but not as bad as the northwest of England where they've had that much in 1 day.
Summer, I hope you enjoy your walk today
If you want to have a look at a very rare cloud formation in Japan a couple of days ago, have a look at the clip om this link to the BBC website.

Morning all x
Cold and windy here. Hope your walk goes well Summer x
Interesting cloud formation El .
Going out for the day with granddaughter, not decided where yet. Maybe the cinema to see Top cat.
Have a good one
Skylark, if you do decide to see Top Cat with your granddaughter I hope you enjoy it and let us know how it compares with the series.
Good morning everyone, very very cloudy here and the rain due to start later on - again
A free concert EL, how lovely.
Interesting cloud formation EL . This cloud was taken by a friend of mine from the top floor of a very tall building in an Australian city (can't remember which one) from a friend who was on holiday visiting family. They were having lunch when she spotted this and managed to snatch a quick shot it as it drifted away, I wonder whether you can make it out clearly?
Good morning Squiggle. Does the cloud formation spell out Jesus? I'm sure that's what I can see.
Mr Yogi and youngest son are working today and middle son (who usually visits on Saturday afternoons) has something on, so I'm all on my lonesome.
Since it is such an awful day, weatherwise, I need to find somewhere indoors to while away my afternoon - I wonder where I'll go?
Skylark, I wish I lived closer to you, then I could join you at the cinema to see Top Cat. The programme was one of my favourites when I was young.
Good morning Yogi, is the garden centre under cover at all? Quite right, it's known as the Jesus Cloud at our church now and my grandson was quite blown away by it when I showed him the original.
I hope you can find something good to watch at the cinema Skylark Top Cat sounds good

Yay, I was correct - pretty special cloud formation.
Yes, most of the garden centre is under cover.
Got some chores to do before I head out. Have a good day everyone, see you later.
Fascinating photo, squiggle
Have a good time when you go out, Yogi. I can imagine that your garden will eventually be like this :
I had a look on Youtube to see if there were any clips about Tom Jones at Gloucester. Virtually nothing though. I did find this though. You will need to watch this in full screen mode and you might just spot Tom Jones
Well I watched, I did not spot Tom Jones was he on the train?
Squiggle, there is a sign on the side of the departing train which says, Sir Tom Jones.

I managed to go to the garden centre and didn't buy a single plant - how's that for self-control?
There was a break between showers, so Keira and I were able to go for a walk. We are both fair-weather walkers.
Glad you enjoyed the walk, Summer.
Are you still awake?
I did have a nice day thank you, it was a chill out day.
Garden centre, some lunch then a nice walk with Keira, it was all good.
Going to head off to bed, goodnight Summer, sweet dreams.
I almost typed sweat dreams!
Goodnight Velvet and Ros.
Sleep well Yogi
Good morning everyone
Cloudy but dry here and not as windy as the last couple of days. Lots more rain overnight. Just checked the Nailsworth weather site and it's already the 3rd wettest June in the last 100 years - I doubt if that will come as a surprise to anyone.
Squiggle, I hope the heavy rain overnight in your area hasn't caused any problems for you.
Yogi, well done on your self restraint
Summer, I'm glad you enjoyed your walks, 20 miles in one day is good going.
Poor Mugly, officially the ugliest dog in the world
Video clip on the BBC:
Squiggle, there is a sign on the side of the departing train which says, Sir Tom Jones.
What a swiz - I was looking out for a curly grey haired man my eyes nearly popped out trying to spot him
It's not raining!
Well done on your admirable self-restraint Yogi And Summer on your long walk, I love to hear how Bramble is discovering her world too.
Poor Mugly, officially the ugliest dog in the world
Video clip on the BBC:
I didn't like the clip Mugly looked upset!
I don't think Mugly was upset. I think that breed of dog has no fur on the skin which makes them look so odd.
Mugly has a website. http://uglymugly.co.uk/index.html
Good morning everyone. It isn't raining atm, and there are some small patches of blue sky.
Mugly didn't look too impressed with that title, did he? - hardly going to boost his self-esteem. The Chinese Crested are not a particularly pretty breed of dog, poor old things.
Keira has hiccups atm. She was trying to have a nap, so she's not best pleased.
Summer, I've found this:
which sounds rather like the one you mention apart from it has 3 squirrels. You can get it from Amazon and other places.

A very cute toy Yogi did you creep up and try to frighten the hiccups away?
Summer, from the same people who make the squirrels/trunk you can get a similar toy:
which is self explanatory

3 weeks ago a Somerset village cricket team suffered one of the worst defeats in years when they were all out for a total of 6 runs.

Their representative was interviewed on the radio and said they were considering whether their club would close down after such a catastrophic defeat. I hope they don't and that was a comment made in shock.
