Good afternoon Crikey yogi, that's a lot of animal action this morning! I hope Keira is feeling better soon, does rice & chicken work for her? Bramble threw up her breakfast this morning and then ate half of it again then she surprised me by turning up as I was cleaning the shower- she's learned to climb stairs! I then popped her on my favourite chair while I cleaned our bedroom.. Skylark I hope you're not too tired after your false start Speaking of moon's, I like the song moon river

What does Bramble look like in that pic? She is Queen of all she surveys.

Been watching ITV's coverage of the Jubilee celebrations. Loved the fly-past, especially the Red Arrows.

She certainly is, a special little girl.

I much prefer to coverage of the celebrations on ITV, I flicked between the two a bit but BBC have lost their edge I think.

Alarm's gone off again - it must be on the blink!

See you later, Skylark.

I hope the alarm gets it out of its system before nightfall.

Enjoy your walk Skylark, good to get moving when you've been sitting still for ages.  A really lovely celebration though wasn't it?  I hope it's not raining for your walk.

Enjoy your walk skylark, it won't be long before I need to do the same bramble is still crated at night, in time though I think we'll let her have downstairs to herself. I'm ok with a morning lay in with her on the weekend when we're going to change the sheets anyway, I don't suppose it will be too much longer before we can do that. She is playful first thing at the mo I want cheese & crackers now Yogi what is going on today?! Its certainly a strange one isn't it! You should but a lottery ticket for tonight Squiggle I hope you're enjoying the jubilee celebrations

Kia,s walk didnt last long, its raining and she hates it! Son will walk her later, if it stops.
Yes squiggle, loved today,s celebrations, particularly as the Duke wasnt there, not particularly a fan of his, but they are only human after all, so it made it a bit more poignant.

Kia sneaks into my bed on occasion too Summer!

Trying to the think of the Moon River i remember, was it Andy Williams ?

Lol Summer, Kia is such a wimp, there goes the theory of Staffy,s being aggressive!

Loved that El, thanks, although my friend, "Shockwave crashed" came again, i listened to it! Both silky voices, sung beautifully

I have been saving for a wee holiday for us, but think i may just buy a new computer. I shall have great pleasure taking this to the tip and jumping all over it! There may be photos of the occasion

Loved the clip of Audrey Hepburn, never seen it before.

Summer I have loved the celebration, wonderful to see all the people expressing the love the whole country has for Her Majesty.  I have a soft spot for Prince Philip, there was a quote from him earlier related by Philip Schofield I think in which he said 'sometimes when you are trying to break the ice you can fall in' and I think that he tries to put people at their ease.

What a wonderfully exciting world Bramble is discovering, I wonder whether she will decide that jumping into ditches is 'her' or not?

Squiggle, I'm pleased to tell you that one of my neighbours (family friend) has stopped the alarm from ringing. He is going to call back tomorrow and see if he can fix it. He is now retired but it was him who fitted it for us, so he knows what he's doing. It's pretty old though, so it may have given up the ghost and need to be replaced.

Summer, I have a Euromillions ticket for tonight.

El, I absolutely love that clip. Audrey Hepburn was fabulous, wasn't she?

Skylark, Keira won't go into water or ditches, she's a big feartie, too.

Thank goodness you got the alarm sorted Yogi. In the past with my carbon monoxide  one, i hit it with a hammer. Not to be recommended
I am waiting for nana to tell me or not if granddaughter coming home this evening, as she did say she may be going to see old nana. Nice to have manners to let me know or not

I was forgetting that you had never seen Breakfast at Tiffanys. The film is a sanitised version of the novella by Truman Capote. Having just looked at a summary of the novella on Wiki the film is very different. The lead man in the film is played by George Peppard at his nicest.

It is a very warm hearted film and tugs at your heart strings.

The only criticism of the film is the Mickey Rooney character who play a Japanese man Mr. Yunioshi. I admit that the first time I saw the film was with my parents and his character really put us off. My parents never saw the film again, but years later I did, and I loved it. It's best to treat that character as an isolated mistake in the film - it doesn't spoil it. The director, years later, admitted that it was a mistake and with the benefit of hindsight would have used a Japanese actor.

I think the really nice things about our Queen (and Prince Philip) are that they never ever forget they are Queen and Consort of a United Kingdom and Commonwealth, a very precious family very close to their hearts.

Glad you got the alarm fixed Yogi it would have been dreadful if it went off tonight.

Thanks Squiggle. If it had gone off in the middle of the night, I can guarantee that Mr Yogi would have resorted to Skylark's method of sorting alarms.

We were saving for NYC when we found out we'd be holidaying in Tuscany for the wedding last year, so we blew the money on an iMac.. I've never regretted it.

No matter what kind, a new computer is so refreshing! I think you deserve one too
