Ros I'm sorry to hear about your BIL.

 

Cloudy here, slightly warmer than yesterday.

 

My brother will be arriving here this afternoon for the Easter break and goes back on Monday afternoon so I won't be around here that much over the next 4 days. I'm not expecting we will do much over the break as the weather isn't looking great but I'm sure we will have a great time. I hope all of you have a great time as well whatever you are going

I know you usually stock up with cake for your brother's visit EL, so what sort have you got for him this time?  Hope the visit goes well and also that everyone's snow has melted away now.

I have solved the mystery of the cat and the helicopter !  She must have watched the DVD somewhere 

Squiggle, I've bought a "Flower Fruit cake" from M&S. It's quite small and is not the ones you would see if you did a Google image search so I can't post a picture. Obviously we won't have any cake tomorrow so we will have it over Saturday and Sunday and it depends as to how much is left as to whether or not he takes any back with him on Monday.

 

Skylark, that explains it Although I've seen Google images of Postman Pat cakes with cats they seem to be generally his van rather than a helicopter.

Phoned the cake lady and asked her to make the cake and i will add Jess and a helicopter !  My son going into town later will send him on the mission to find them. The things we have to do

Oh he is dead cool nowadays ! Must get on, granddaughter,s birthday today, just having some family down for a little tea party, as she is having her main one on Saturday. She is like the Queen and having two birthdays

Many years ago, Mr Yogi made a Postman Pat (and his Van) cake for one of our sons. Pat has stood the test of time.

I hope your grandaughter has a great birthday Skylark.  Hope you all have a very happy Easter whatever you are doing. 

What are your plans now Joyron, any possibility of still going away to your holiday home?

My brother will be arriving in 6 minutes time so I doubt if I will be back here today. Behave yourselves in my absence otherwise it's the naughty steps for you which have now been spring cleaned.

 

Just switched to my browser so I can see the pics, they're fab! I'm really pleased postman pat is still cool, I think he's great Hope your granddaughter is having a lovely birthday skylark

Probably won't stay at the holiday home but we may visit to do some maintenance on the decking if the weather is warm enough, but you never know it might turn so warm we cannot stay away!!

 

Otherwise we will have a quiet weekend here, which won't be a bad thing as hubby has been so busy again this week.  A rest will do him a power of good.  Thank you for the email.  Very thought provoking.    Love you all.

hi yogi just can't rustle up the will power to diet at the mo or go to the gym

I never go near the gym but I am trying to psyche myself up to go on a diet.

I have had two failed attempts this year.
