Nowadays I have a more powerful shredder so although I have quite a lot of paper to shred it shouldn't be a problem.

Good morning very early birds! Its another beautiful day, so myself & SIL are definitely going walking, she wants to stay out until she's burned 800 calories and in my experience I would say that's about 7-8 miles.. I'm packing a picnic and the suncream Can I borrow one of your doggies please..?

Extra for ros this morning, it can't be easy having to go to work feeling like you are

P.S. I was up so late because I was talking to my cousin on the phone, she's the one who found me on fb last year.. She's lovely Then I couldn't resist doing a little bit of work on the cushion, then practising my blanket stitch

Another lovely morning, and the skies are so clear at night that we are spotting all sorts.  I will never forget that link on uTube that kattymieoww posted, I will never look at the sky in the same way again, simply amazing.

 

I am looking forward to the pictures of the cushion when you have finished it.  Yogi can we have some pics too of your garden when you have finished the new planting?

I watched kattymieoww's linked clip. I have always been interested in astronomy since childhood and have watched many progammes on television such as The Sky at Night and Horizon.

 

I found this two parter on Youtube. It's best seen on full screen. It's loosely based on a much longer National Geographic programme. This is a trip through space starting from the Earth, first moving through the inner planets and the Sun, then out to Mars, the meteorite belt between Mars and Jupiter. It continues in the second part to the outer planets (no mention of Pluto) then progresses outwards to the outmost parts of the universe until....

 

WOW El, those videos were fabulous - and I loved the music, too. (There was a piece of music included, which is used in BGT).

I will watch those videos over and over again. Thanks El.

 

Glad you liked the pic of Keira. That was the day the greenhouse was being erected, hence the bits and pieces lying around.

The National Geographic version of Journey to the Edge of the Universe is available on Youtube. It has been shown on television and is remarkable. I will just post the link as it is 90 minutes long so you may want to bookmark the link for future reference.

I fell asleep earlier! Mr summer came home and woke me, we had to go grocery shopping otherwise he'd have left me to snooze. Hi yogi, yes thank you it was very restful! How was your day?

It was quite busy - catching up on housework, after my day of garden centres and planting with eldest son yesterday.

Mr Yogi had the day off work but he wasn't feeling very well - throat bug - so I was doing my Florence Nightingale as well.

Oh the poor thing I hope he gets well soon. Is he a good patient? Mr summer likes to be left alone when poorly

Yogi I'm going to turn in now, I hope you have a good nights sleep sweet dreams
