Give that woman an Oscar.

(did you know that the word melodrama is a hybrid of melody and drama and originally meant a play with musical interludes)

No, I didn't know that.

Good morning everyone.

El, that plant reminds me of my paternal grandmother (the green fingered one) who always had a geranium that colour, on her front window sill.

Ru, did you have a nice meal last night?

Skylark, have a good day.

Baz, well done on getting the hardy geraniums, they are really pretty plants.

I am still trying to psyche myself up for that clothes shopping trip - it's either today or tomorrow.

Are you looking for anything in particular on your clothes shopping , Yogi?
Hi Summer, yes i am sitting down now with a cuppa and some crackers with pate

Morning, again everyone else x

Hello again.

You've put me in the mood for some crackers now - and I don't have any in.

Yogi19

Ooh, we've gone Jacob cream crackers again

A couple of weeks ago at the fair trade stall I bought some ginger cake, they hadn't stocked it before.

It was somewhat more expensive than the usual McVities ginger cake but I bought it anyway. I tried it and thought it was far nicer than McVities as it is moister and has bits of stem ginger in it. So yesterday I bought another and others who had tried it said that it was the nicest they had ever had. It's Traidcraft Fair Trade Ginger cake. It's worth trying it out though I doubt if ordinary supermarkets stock it. (Places like Sainsburys stock Mrs Crimbles version at a similar price but I don't know if it's as good or if it's fairtrade)

Thanks for the crackers.

Mr Yogi has phoned to say he's coming home early, so my shopping trip might have to be postponed until tomorrow.

Your posts keep reminding me of my nana, she made the best gingerbread cake in the world.

I'll look out for the Traidcraft one.

Oh how funny, I've just snacked on 2 crackers i wish I could put pÃĒtÃĐ on them now though! Skylark I'm glad you got a cuppa I do love an energy top up when I'm busy. Yogi, shame your clothes shopping was thwarted if you go tomorrow, I hope you find what you need Have any of you tried sarah neilsons original gingerbread from grasmere? I LOVE it! And, you can buy it online
~Sparkling Summer~

Summer, my shopping trip didn't have to be postponed after all. Mr Yogi took me to Frankie and Benny's for lunch and then I went to M&S. I got a pair of trousers, two dressy tops, four t-shirts and two camisoles. Just have to get another pair of trousers, then I'm sorted.

Mr Yogi is a brave man to go clothes shopping with me, I have been known to get rather grumpy when I can't find what I'm looking for, or (Heaven forbid) when I have to go up a size.

Changing rooms are a nightmare, they are always so cramped and hot - and whoever invented full length mirrors should be shot! (Not literally)

That was nice going out for lunch Yogi, and then getting your clothes. Are you off somewhere or just getting your Spring wardrobe organised?
