Edinburgh in December sounds good. I could combine some Christmas shopping with a theatre show. Now, all I have to do is convince Mr Yogi - or I could speak to my sons' partners and have a girls weekend instead.

Here, yesterday's glorious spring day has been replaced by grey sky, light rain, and wind.

Good morning everyone we have had heavy rain and now just for a change we are getting humungous showers, and I have to go out   I don't mind when I can stay in and watch the rain, and I bet it pours down as soon as I go to step out of the car, wish me luck

 

Good morning It's very mixed here this morning, sunny spells and dark clouds that move fast! The ground is soaking after last nights rain.. I haven't decided whether to go out walking or not so I think I'll just watch a little tv for now I hope everyone is having a good start to the day

Squiggle, I hope I'm not too late to wish you good luck when you step out of your car. It was wet this morning first thing, then it became sunny for a time, then about an hour ago there was a shower, but just a shower,

And as I type this, the sky has got dark again - I think there's going to be another shower.

That's a gorgeous umbrella squiggle I decided to do some yoga instead, we keep getting small but heavy rain showers. I've got waterproofs but it doesn't stop the rain hitting your face

We seem to be getting four seasons in one day, up here - sunshine, wind, rain, snow, sleet and hailstones.

Squiggle, I hope your luck held and you avoided the rain.

Summer, I think yoga was a good choice.

I was lucky with the weather and managed to get the ladies I gave a lift to home without a drop of rain on them.  Thanks for the good wishes.  Summer I googled umbrellas but this one was my favourite, isn't it gorgeous? I want one.

aww glad to hear that yogi - will read that book over Easter - so addicted to the crime Genre it will do me good to read something different - I used to read  a much wider range at one time

I read a lot of crime thrillers, too. Son's GF lent me some Martina Cole books, which I've just returned to her. They were good but very gritty and graphic, so sometimes I like the lighter stuff to balance things up.

Talking about crime thrillers, I'm waiting on Wire In The Blood starting on ITV3.

yes - I like those - presently watching - missing without trace I wasn't keen on Martina Cole TBH - but I do  like a mix of crime - but mainly who dunnits at various levels
