I agree Yogi, i am not warming to any of the characters, wont be watching any more.
Hi Summer, hope you having a good day at work.
Turned out a nice afternoon so off for a stroll x
Squiggle, yes I did spot Terry Bull's van
After the last episode of Call the Midwife I did start watching Upstairs Downstairs. It's not something that I had watched before but I thought I would try it out as I saw that both programmes were written by the same writer.
I have to admit that I stopped watching as I was not getting anything from it, so it seems as if the rest of you had a similar reaction.
The ratings for Upstairs Downstairs according to BARB:
The ratings for the previous short series of 3 episodes were 8.85, 8.13, and 8.18 million respectively.
This current series:
The first episode 7.87 million.
The second episode 6.70 million.
OK, the first episode may be benefited by being shown after Call the Midwife but is in line with the previous series. But the second episode does show a significant drop. It's too soon for BARB to have released the figures for yesterday's episode as they release the figures weekly.
Thats a big drop El, will be interesting seeing last nights figures.........
Enjoy your walk Summer x
I hope you enjoy your "cousin"'s tea, Summer
Skylark, if I remember to I'll check BARB later this week to see what the ratings are.
Have a good time Summer, as an early bird
if I've gone off to read before you get back I wish you a good evening
Night night then
Does this mean someone else might be ahead of you in the bus queue?

You might be in with a chance tonight, Soozy.
Night night then
Goodnight Squiggle, speak to you tomorrow.
Glad you had a good evening. Goodnight Summer.
Goodnight Ros.
night yogi and to everybody
Good morning everyone
Slight frost this morning but won't stay long - should be a mainly sunny day here.
Summer, I think squiggle's beautiful picture is of a bluebird found in the States. A film starring Shirley Temple called The Blue Bird was made in 1940 in an attempt to follow in the footsteps of The Wizard of Oz:
Good morning everyone.
Weather is overcast and threatening to rain.
Hope everyone is well this morning.
Got some errands to run, will be back later.
Good morning everyone, hope you manage to dodge the showers Yogi.
Morning
Bright here this morning, but very cold.
Keep missing you Ros, hope you are well x
Good morning everyone, hope you manage to dodge the showers Yogi.
Good morning Squiggle. The showers have stayed off, thankfully. It actually looks like it might brighten up, atm.
Good morning Skylark, are you doing any more bargain hunting today?
Good morning Summer.
Here, the weather has improved to be a sunny day, not cold, and the cold wind yesterday has gone, not even a breeze. A lovely spring day, Just right for this clip:
Lovely video, El. I loved when they all ran round the pond.
Glad you are having nice weather El, i have just been out and its so cold here.
No bargain hunting today Yogi
Looking around for a venue for granddaughters birthday party , it falls at Easter so not finding it so easy.
How many kids will be coming to the party, Skylark?
About 8 kids i think at the moment Yogi. There aren't many places here for a kids party, you would think there would be. Dont fancy Pizza Hut or Macdonalds. We need somewhere for them to run around
Hi Summer, glad you had a nice lunch x
My computer has went so slowwwww, its driving me nuts!
Think i have found somewhere

Excellent.
Glad you had a nice lunch break, Summer. Have you been busy today?
No sugary stuff for you until Lent's over.
No sugary stuff for you until Lent's over.
I've just come back from the Lent course at church where we had a cup of tea and a biscuit. I had a Nice biscuit which has sugar granules on top - I'm doomed
I did enjoy the lamb clip EL, thank you , glad you found somewhere for your granddaughter's birthday party Skylark.
Yes indeed goodie bags all round, no sugar for Summer tho, and definitely no whistle
Off to take dog for her walk xx
Thanks squiggle x
Skylark, our church hall takes bookings for things which are unrelated to the church and so accept children's parties if the hall bookings permit. Obviously out church hall is too far away to be practical for you, but I'm sure that lots of churches with church halls accept such a party.
Yes thanks El, my daughter asked if we could have the church hall, but Easter activities have been booked. A shame, my fault really for not thinking ahead.
