Sorry, mr summer was talking to me, I'm back.. Ok, here's what I had last night- Poppadoms & pickles Bhuna prawn on puree (pancake, yay!) Prawn Bhuna with garlic pilau rice A chapati Bombay aloo (shared) Garlic naan bread (shared) It was superb, I've struggled to find a decent Indian restaurant in this area since I moved, because there are some fantastic ones in Suffolk and I was obviously accustomed to that high standard. I'm delighted to have discovered this one and we all said that we would go back again

Summer, what type of curry did you have last night ?

I'm off to get my shopping, see you later.

Is there a connection do we think

Good morning all x
Nice you have found a good restaurant Summer
Had a lazy morning, watching TV in bed with a cuppa! Even the dog is lying in!
Hope you all well today x

Good morning everyone, you are spot on with the weather forecast EL .  Glad you are having a lie-in Skylark, you deserve it, the dog probably doesn't but I hope he enjoys it anyway.  Sounds like a lovely evening out Summer, the curry sounds great, I am very unadventurous I don't get any further than a Korma or a Pashandra.

Whatever everyone is up to today I hope it works out well for you.

Big hug for you Joyron

Skylark, I couldn't possibly comment

Summer, that sounds a very nice meal - you certainly like your prawns and garlic and pancakes. Well done on finding a good Indian restaurant.

Squiggle, as an alternative to korma and pasandra have you tried the Thai red chicken curry from M&S in their Fuller Longer range? It is in their mild range and is also relatively low in the sugar content.

Got your lovely cook book out, going to do some baking later, i have decided on Orange Drizzle Cake . Will let you know if its a success or not !

I shall tell Mary tomorrow at church that you are making her cake, she will be pleased.  She is going to be baptised next week.  She has been struggling with health problems and has had virtually no voice for the last year or so.  The final diagnosis after all the tests (we all thought it would be cancer as she has been losing so much weight) is that her vocal chords are touching or rubbing against her neck, very odd).

Ooh just seen your post EL, that curry sounds worth a try, I am such a coward about curries, I don't like spicy food much and it certainly doesn't like me.  I will give it a try when next I go to M & S, thanks.

Summer, I hope you enjoy your mystery tour

Like you I sometimes realise afterwards that I have typed the letter next to the one I had intended. Only yesterday I sent an email where I had intended to use the surname Holt and today I realised that I had done exactly the same as you but typing y instead ot t to get Holy The best one I did on this forum ages ago was when I used an a instead of the s next to it in the word test - it caused some amusement

Afternoon all. Weather is wet, windy and really cold up here.

Been out today with hubby and No1 and No2 sons, stocked up on more seed and lard balls for the birds. Managed to find some low-fat treats for Keira, who could do with losing a couple of kilos. She is on extra walks and strict control of her treats, atm (she is not impressed). Wish I was so disciplined with my own diet and exercise programme - although I am getting extra walks because Keira is.

Summer, I hope you enjoy your Mystery Tour, is it part of your birthday treat?

Squiggle, I love the cute dog pic, it's really sweet.

El, I agree with you about the Red Thai Curry being mild. I sometimes make a Green Thai Curry, which is lovely and quite mild, too.

Skylark, glad you enjoyed your lie-in, and your wee dog, too.

quick hello and goodnight from the mystery tour destination Well spotted skylark, we are here to celebrate my birthday 10 points to the first person who guesses where we had tea..! Hint, I'm in Harrogate.. Skylark I'm glad your cake has been a success and I'm glad it's from squiggle's book too Yogi, I had to put the bunnies on a diet once, the vet said they weren't fat but could do with losing a little weight. I think listening to his advice is why they're both now older than average Hope you all sleep well, will share my cake with you tomorrow, once I find out what it is of course night night all x
