I say Yes, yes, yes.  (Pretty please)

Interesting clip EL, gorgeous costumes (which is what I always notice) and Mickey Rooney was quite recognisable.

As you ask so nicely Joyron,

Haha Squiggle, that's a great pic.

Got all my food shopping done, gifts bought and cards sent. Now I can relax and enjoy Christmas.

Got to sign out early tonight, leaving hugs for our night owls.

Oh yes, about Ralph; He's our friends Irish terrier, he licked my ear this summer, he gets a Christmas present every year; a box of maltesers! (I don't think that's actually good for dogs but apparently he 's fine on it) they wrap up the box and let him go crazy, he scratches it until its open and eats the chocolates! Just thought I'd share that because it made me chuckle

Good morning everyone

Summer, everyone wakes up during the night as part of the natural sleep cycle, it's just that generally we don't wake up sufficiently to remember it in the morning.

I'm just off to do my M&S food shopping before it gets even more crowded and before the expected rain arrives. See you later.

Good morning everyone, very drizzly here .  I'm glad everyone liked my picture - exactly what I look like I assure you

Wow brave souls going to M & S today I bets it's heaving in there, hope you both get what you want EL and Mr Summer. Going to make the stuffing today, have a good day everyone.

I'm back from M&S. I went to the out of town one. I was there before 9, the car park was almost full, and M&S was very busy. Luckily the aisles are wide so it wasn't too hard to get around. I got enough for the next few days, but will go back next Wednesday to restock. It took longer to queue to pay than it did to choose what I wanted.

Lovely pictures, squiggle

Apparently there were some lenticular clouds over West Yorkshire yesterday. The BBC posted some pictures of these on their site and someone has uploaded them on to Youtube as a silent slideshow. They are rarely seen, and sometimes people think that they have seen a UFO.

I saw yesterday's Christmas University Challenge, and for the first time, one of the teams did reasonably well and up to the standard one expects from the regular series. The team seemed a lot sharper and had the siginificant advantage that one of the team was in the team that won the regular series a few years ago. So far I have seen 8 of the 10 teams competing, and unless 1 of the two remaining teams yet to be seen is as good I would be surprised if Warwick doesn't turn out to be the eventual winners.

Good afternoon everyone.

Went to the nurse for my monthly blood tests and then my eldest son came to visit.

Summer, I think I would like Ralph, he sounds a real character. You are right about the maltesers though, dogs shouldn't have chocolate which is meant for humans. Maybe Ralph has an inbuilt imunity to it.

Squiggle, I love the Christmas pics.

El, I saw the strange cloud formations on BBC Breakfast news, they are fascinating.

I'm going to catch up on some ironing and housework, then put my feet up, have a cup of tea and read another chapter of my book. See you later.

hope everyone is ok this lunch time Well done El for getting your shopping done early too I'm going to look up those clouds when I get back home Yogi I hope your blood tests were alright today, enjoy your book reading rest (I'm envious right now) You would like Ralph, he's very very odd! He LOVES being dressed up daft and posing for the camera they say he's the oddest dog they've had over the years, but they adore him! He was terrified of my rabbits when they had them during our holiday, but by the end of the week used to lay next to the hutch all day. He missed them loads when we took them back! (all other dogs have tried to get in the hutch to kill them) Squiggle, lovely pics, you certainly have done a grand job in here this Christmas Skylark I hope all is going well for you today

The Telepgraph has today published a list of the 10 strangest requests under the Freedom of Information Act received by local councils.

My favourite one is local to me and is this :

What preparations has the council made for an emergency landing of Santa's sleigh this Christmas? Who would be responsible for rescuing Santa? Who would be responsible for rounding up the reindeer, and who would have to tidy the crash site?

(Cheltenham Borough Council)

I don't know what reply if any was given.
