Thanks Summer, the tooth is fine I'm just a bit tense getting ready to go and have my eyes examined.  I will probably feel a lot more relaxed tomorrow, its not been an easy week.

Summer I'm glad you are enjoying the book, I have not read the first one but I loved the second one.  My eyes are still a little blurry so I won't be staying online for long but at least its done and dusted.

El, I admit to being baffled by the code. I loved the posts between you and Suzy.

Yogi, Suzy could be right with her answer about SpecialFriedRice as that has 16 letters in it and there are 16 columns in the puzzle. According to the Telegraph some people have already cracked it. I'm not even attempting it, though GCHQ is less than 10 miles away from me and I do know some people who work there.

I liked the posts between me and Suzy - if you hadn't guessed it, she is off to Israel - toda is Hebrew for thanks, and shalom of course means hello.

I guessed Toda was thanks and I did know Shalom meant hello.

As for solving the code, I don't have a scooby doo.

Had a busy day , think all is packed for son going off in the morning. Thanks all, i hope he behaves ! heard them say they wanted to see Anne Franks house, as they did a project at school. I just checked what he has been googling and all seems well for the places he wants to see . yes i know i am a spy but needs must

We did have a nice lunch, we went to Frankie and Benny's. I had Mushroom Alfredo Crostini followed by Chicken Penne Romana - yummy!

I won't eat any dinner tonight, maybe just have a piece of toast at bedtime.

We have one here too, its nice. Glad you enjoyed it 

We were served by a lovely, smiley waitress, so good customer service too.

That makes all the difference, doesnt it. Nothing worse than a torn faced waitress

I have been up since 4am. Thats son off . He has been very excited but this morning looks very pale! He hasnt flown before and think now it is becoming closer he is a bit concerned! He will be fine , i am sure  
Granddaughter,s nursery having a Christmas fair today so will offer my help there to keep me busy.

Definitely the coldest day for some time here  1 C outside but not a cloud in the sky.

Good morning everyone, a clear morning here but looks cold (I haven't ventured outside yet).  Skylark I hope your son has a great time and I am sure he will thoroughly enjoy his first flight, luckily to Amsterdam its not too long.  We'll all be thinking of you, try not to worry and enjoy your Christmas fair, that will really put you in the mood for Christmas.
