Got some Beechams capsules, which are paracetamol based , as he cant take aspirin, and they are kind on the tummy. They have perked him up a bit, temp down slightly. So its all good.

Well i put some things for sale on Ebay today, what a palava! I have manically checked around 6 times for any bids, none as yet ! I doubt i will get any, as i am a new seller, and i can understand how people can be suspicious .I think i put my opening bid too high TBH . Its all very new to me, but it only cost me £1.30 so nothing lost really . I hope i do get a bid tho...

No that's not too long, it gives people a chance to notice it I once read that timing your auction to finish on a Sunday evening works well too, as a lot of people browse during the weekend. That was before the era of iPhone/iPad and such devices though, so I would say that these days people browse any time. I know I certainly do

Oh you all made me laugh SO much.  I wish I had enough money to live in a house like that!!  Our electric bills seem to be comparable, ie £1,300+ for a year but the oil is just so expensive.  We have no option, there is no gas in our area and changing to any other form of heating would be too expensive.  I am using the halogen heaters and have managed to refrain from turning the heating on as yet.  Just thought I would fill the oil tank before the cost escalates just before Christmas (I got caught out last year)!!

 

Hopefully once we get this winter out of the way we will be able to put the house and annex on the market and move to something much smaller.  When we built the house (20 years ago) our two sons were living here and we had hubby's mother and father in the annex.  Unfortunately both hubby's mother and father are no longer with us and our two sons have moved on with their lives.
