El that did make me laugh . There is a guy around here who has the most gorgeous waist length hair, always clean and shiny. Its not fair
I had visitors for a couple of hours, so now I have to go do the ironing which I should have been doing earlier.
Signing out for tonight, catch up tomorrow.
For the night owls.
Goodnight Yogi
And everyone else , sleep well
I'm off too so leaving for the night owls, hope the ironing goes smoothly Yogi (see what I did there ) night night everyone
I've just seen the first episode of the new BBC1 series Death in Paradise starring Ben Miller. Thoroughly enjoyable and likeable crime drama with a light touch of humour - perfect early Sunday evening entertainment for all the family - and worth watching by everyone here One could say it's like the earlier Poirot series crossed with Doc Martin.
Good morning everyone
Summer, as you know I'm not normally a night owl, but I wanted to post my immediate reaction to what I had seen
And a very very Happy Birthday to Rosgirl today
With lots of love on your birthday, Ros.
Good morning everyone. It's another lovely sunny day here and it's not as cold as some previous days have been!!
Happy birthday Rosgirl. Sorry but I'm no good at doing these lovely pictures, but here are some presents for you. They can be whatever you would like them to be.
I need to order my first winter supply of oil today. I wonder if I will get a pleasant or nasty surprise when I ask to price!! Will tell you later.
I forgot to say good morning to everyone.
Weather is dry and bright today.
El, I watched Murder In Paradise, and I liked it too.
Squiggle, the ironing went very smoothly, thank you.
Joyron, I hope you don't get a nasty shock at the cost of the oil.
Good morning everyone, hope you are all well, its sunny here too

I am going up to the chemist to get him something soothing for his sore throat.
Bye for now x
A big hug for your son, Skylark. I've also got a cold and a bouncing sore head today, so I can empathise with him.
Hi Summer, lovely chocolates.
*wonders if Ros would notice if one choccie disappeared?*
Hi Summer, lovely chocolates.
*wonders if Ros would notice if one choccie disappeared?*
we could try one or two from the back yogi, i'm sure she wouldn't notice
Thank you Summer, my mum always makes chicken soup when anyone is ill.
I agree that Ros wouldn't notice if we took a couple of choccies from the back.
After all, we are only thinking of her waistline.
well that's it yogi, she'll have lots of cake to eat so we're doing her a favour really!
What a brilliant smiley.
Got to go now, will be back tonight.
see you a little later yogi

Aww Yogi, hope you feel better soon xx
Thanks Summer, he is asleep , will show him later xxx
Yogi, I hope you feel better soon
And for Skylark's son - (this is the very first appearance of the subject of Summer's picture for him) It's not exactly sophisticated

It's from 1930 and she wasn't given a name unitil a later cartoon.
Good afternoon everyone. Spoke too soon about the weather. It's now dull and dreary and we have had quite a bit of rain!!
Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly Yogi, and also Skylark's son. Get well soon. I'm sure the soup will help. Summer and Yogi, stand away from Ros' chocolates!!
Well the oil price wasn't too bad, just 1p a litre more than the last time I ordered. Still got a bill for over ÂĢ900.00 to pay but hopefully I won't have to order anymore oil until the New Year.
I will try and get back later. If I don't, stay safe and keep in the warm.
Thats a lot Joyron Get those halogen heaters out ! Very mild here, thank goodness, i dont put my heating on till i really have to.
Son is a bit brighter thanks x
Joyronm as Skylark says, that's a lot. I know it's not a fair comparison as our houses and circumstances are different, but I currently pay ÂĢ972 for my entire electricity and gas in a year.
Having looked at my bill again I actually understated the amount. It's actually ÂĢ991.00!!. I estimate my oil bill to be ÂĢ2,500 for the year and electricity is about ÂĢ1,200. I know that's a lot above average but we do have a really big house and annex. Much too big for just two people, which is why we need to try and move sometime next year.
Do you live in Downton Abbey Joyron ! Thats a lot for fuel, did you say last year, if i recall, oil was around ÂĢ700 ? If so its gone up quite a bit.
I have gas central heating and water, but i pay mostly for electric, with appliances and my son never off the XBox . Probably around ÂĢ1300 per year . Last winter was very bad so bills went up a bit. I try to keep them down as much as possible. Lets pray for a mild winter! x
Yogi hope you are feeling better now and also your son Skylark
Joyron that's a large heating bill I am trying to keep my heating bills down as much as possible, my energy company decided to increase my monthly amount way beyond what I think I use and so I am determined to show 'em. At the last reading they owed me ÂĢ150, I am a determined woman
I am feeling a bit better, thank you. Some paracetamol and a big box of Kleenex tissues are helping, although I may look like Rudolph by morning.
