Summer, when I was a teenager I and my brother did a bit of hide and seek in our house. My most successful hideaway was when I hid between the two mattresses on my bed. My brother got rateher worried when he couldn't find me and got my mother looking for me as well. I could hear them talking about me when they were in my bedroom and I eventually got out to show myself as they were starting to get really worried . Looking back on it, it was rather reckless of me as if one of them had decided to stand on the bed I could have been injured.

I'm off now to go to that big client I'm still working on as the bookkeeper is now on holiday so I can access her computer. See you later.

El Loro

I'm back from the big client having done what I wanted to do there this afternoon. It was unhealthier hot there for some reason and it was a relief to get out into the fresh air.

Summer, hide and seek is great fun.

I've always been interested in magicians - I have a very battered early edition of "The Secrets of Houdini" which gives detailed descriptions as to how he did many of his tricks. He was famous for his escapologist achievements. When I was a child I had a long rope. I would get my brother to tie me up with the rope and then proceed to escape from the rope which I always did. You never know when that might come in handy, though I'm nowhere near as flexible as I was then

You do make me laugh, El.

Aw what a fab thing to be in to, you can take her to all sorts of places I hated walking as a child! I know how to dress better for it now though lol I should imagine you have great fun together skylark Yogi, when a book is good you just have to get stuck in I love doing that! My current books don't have chapters, which is odd. They do have sections, but they can vary in length from 1 paragraph to 10 pages or more

Which book are you reading, Summer?

I like the crime genre too, Ros. But once I've read a few consecutively, I like something lighter for a bit of balance. I'm not keen on autobiographies either.

Sweet dreams skylark I hope your sister is ok Yogi I'm reading power of the sword by wilbur smith, I do love his series but this one has been very heavy on political back drop, I know it's relevant but I prefer just the fictional story What's next for you? Last Xmas I got a sort of biography by poetic de rossi- I loved her in ally macbeal. Her book covers her eating disorder & recovery, it was a harrowing but very informative read, she was brave to write it and I'm so glad she survived

Well done to Portia for conquering her eating disorder, it can be such a difficult thing to recover from.

Not sure what I will read next, I have six books waiting for me - I'm spoilt for choice.

After that excellent eviction result, I am tired out and toddling off to bed.

Goodnight Summer, Ros and Velvet, see you tomorrow.
