Good evening everyone.    Glad you got on okay at the dentist Squiggle.  Hope I only need a clean and polish tomorrow.

Just a quick visit before No.2 son arrives.  Having read three Milly Johnson books in a row I thought I would try another author for a change.  While we were waiting for my penfriend to arrive at Heathrow I was looking through the books in the W H Smith store and bought four!!  The one I've just finished was "The House by the Sea" by Santa Montefiore.  If you get a chance to read it then I can highly recommend it.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I will be starting on Milly Johnson's "Summer Fling" next week when No.2 son has returned home.

If I don't get a chance to come in and catch up with you all for a while then I will still try and read your posts.  Love you all.  Speak soon.

Such a sweet thing this afternoon.  This jay (no no that one, the bird ) flew down with a nut in its beak, then it buried it in my lawn, stabbed at the area a bit and finally covered it with a leaf (which blew off about 2 seconds later) I thought that was so sweet, but I hope it remembers where it put it and I don't get a tree growing there

I am in complete agreement with the columnist (as you may have guessed).

Bring back Bill and Kate!

We had a lovely lunch with eldest son and our DiL, and Mr Yogi is very pleased with his new car.

Fingers crossed the filling stays in place and the dentist is able to save the tooth, Squiggle.

Joyron, enjoy your time with your son.

Jays are beautiful birds, Squiggle.

Pirate, you're naughty.

BTW, have you been to the dentist yet?

no

ive used mouthwash, asprin and alcohol lol

What are you like?! Get to the dentist and get it sorted. You'd feel so much better if you let the dentist sort you out with some antibiotics.

Good morning everyone

Cold but sunny out there today.

I recorded Top Hat at the weekend and watched it yesterday evening. I've seen it before but it is one of the best musicals ever made and Fred and Ginger are at their best. My favourite routine is near the beginning of the film when they get caught in a storm and take shelter in a bandstand:

Good morning, this drop in temperature is coming as a bit of a shock isn't it?  I hope we are not in for another harsh winter.

I enjoyed the clip EL.  Fred Astaire always looks to me as if, should he choose, he could just float up in the air, he is so light on his feet.  What a pity that we seem to have lost the art of romance nowadays, I don't think Jay writing his message to Loo in blood quite cuts it do you?

Not watching BB means I can't really say, but it doesn't seem very pleasant, but then Angelina Jolie displayed her husband's name on the back of her shirt painted in her own blood at her wedding to Jonny Lee Miller back in 1995.

I've been out with Mr Yogi in his new car - had to listen to Sounds Of The Seventies, followed by The Bee Gees. Mr Yogi insists in joining in the singing, which means lots of "Oh yeah Baby, take me, take me!"

I am going to be really annoyed if BB don't evict either Jay or Anton on Friday night.

I will stop watching, if they don't.

Squiggle, I'm on Chapter 26 of my book - so much for two chapters per day.
