I too feel its just as well that your brother never learned to drive EL, speaking as a motorist that is   That reminds me of when I was about 15 and dad took us for a tour of France Switzerland and Italy in his car.  Obviously driving on the right in a right hand drive car wasn't easy for him and so mum was the lookout and she was hopeless.  He would ask her if it was clear to overtake and she would say 'yes' and then as he started to manoeuvre she would shout 'NO' he had a very short fuse and ended up being very frustrated.

Feel a lot better today, thanks x Didnt want to phone daughter incase they were having a lie in, but she sent a txt saying wee one,s temp down but still all choked up, poor thing.

Squiggle, you mum's driving sense seemed much the same as my brother's. My brother did have enough sense to recognise that he has no driving sense so never drove. I suspect if he was properly taught, in time he would be OK, but he would have to overcome his nervousness as I think a hesitant driver is almost as dangerous as a reckless driver. As he works in London, he is able to get away without needing a car.

This is Boo, he is said to be the cutest dog in the world, he's an adult dog not a puppy

Aww, he looks like a toy. Boo is seriously cute, Squiggle.

I have found that Boo is a 5 year old pomeranian who lives in the States. His owner has kept her identity secret, but uses the pseudonym J H Lee.

 

Boo has "written" a book about his life which is being launched this month. Here is a Youtube clip which has been released to publicise the book.

They featured him in my paper this morning and I thought he was sooo cute.  He is a pomeranian but had to have his fur shaved off for some reason and his owners thought he looked so cute as a result.

I think you are right, squiggle. Boo has been on Facebook for some time and he has a large following, so an "autobiography" would be seen to be a bit of a money spinner.

 

I think it is likely that the Chinese (or an adjoining country) woman in the clip could be Boo's owner. Although not her real name, Lee (or Li) is a very common Chinese surname.

I think we relax about this falling satelite mentioned on the news today as it's expected to fall in the Pacific ocean.

 

I though I would work out the odds of me being hit by it and I think it is about 1 in 22,400,000,000,000. To put that in comparison with something else, that is about 9 times as likely as getting the national lottery jackpot twice in a row.

I would like to say i have been baking a homemade apple pie , but cant! Got one from a lovely home bakery shop near me. Had it with ice cream. lovely ! Diet not going too well, as you can see ...x

No not yet, still looking around. Will probably get a print from Simpsons, if i can decide on which one. I wanted to get her some flowers delivered but her cat eats them ! So thats out.

The print sounds good. I had a look at the website last time we discussed it, they have some lovely prints.
