It must have been very frightening to have been in that car and I am glad no-one was injured.  Knowing you a little Summer I am not surprised you take pride in your work.  My Dad always used to say if a job's worth doing its worth doing well and he was right.

Soggy mess out there today, weatherwise - luckily I don't need to go out this morning. It's supposed to brighten up later, but still windy.

Well what a wild and windy night that was my driveway now looks as if someone thrown a load of clippings over it - hold on a minute, what happened to all those hedge trimmings Yogi

 

Off out in a bit to run a taxi service and then all go on to lunch at a friend's house, so I am hoping it calms down a bit before then.

 

I also hope that today is a little calmer for you Summer, anyway we are here, come and grumble to us and we will get on your behalf

I was wary when opening the greenhouse to water the plants this morning - wind and my greenhouse don't go well together.

At present, the clouds from my house are quite striking. I don't have a mobile phone so can't post a picture. To the far left where there are hills, there is low dark storm clouds hovering over the hills. In the middle there is a mix of shades of cloud mainly medium grey, but with some much darker, and further away the cloud is less grey. To the right, the cloud is less threatening and there is a tiny little bit of blue. As the clouds are moving from right to left, it looks as if the worst of the rain is coming to an end

Good afternoon everyone.    It's been wet and very, very windy here all day.  So different to this time last week when we were away!!  Cannot see any lovely cloud formations in the sky here El Loro.  It's just one mass of grey!!

 

Hope you are all having a good day, whatever you are doing.  Hope you are having a much better day than yesterday Summer.  I believe most schools are back now, or they will be tomorrow.  Cannot understand why people have to be so nasty and negative.

It has been bucketing down all day and really blustery, too.

Back again from my lovely lunch with the ladies.  A wonderful group and we had a great laugh, sorry to miss your posts Joyron, I hope everyone has managed to dodge the rain.  We were lucky on the whole although we saw a lot of rain we did not get caught in the showers.

Joyron and Yogi, I hope your rain has stopped by now.

Here, it stopped raining during the morning, and although it's been very cloudy much of the day, now there's some blue sky though the sun is setting.

I'm sorry to report that it's still raining up here, El.

Summer, I hope your day at work was less hectic and less stressful than yesterday.

I'm really tired, so I'm having an early night.

evening all Work was just as busy as y'day but everyone was much nicer today I drove home so tired I could cry, ran a bath that I only managed to stay in for 10 mins then fell asleep face down in my bed! I woke up cold about 90 mins later My colleague got in touch last night to say she'd be in today, as an extra day, but after her recent untruths & unreliability, I told her I didn't need her! I knew I'd be busy but I wasn't going to let her mess me around all weekend and then come in today when she'd run out of money & gotten over her hangover Enough said, the school hols are officially over and I've got the day off tomorrow! I'll recharge my batteries and be happy summer again very soon I hope you all have better weather tomorrow, yogi I hope your greenhouse is ok!
