El, it was a good job you checked your receipt, otherwise that could have been very expensive toothpaste.

I'm not sure what to make of "Shadow". He seems well intentioned, but it's more than a wee bit odd to go round dressed as a ninja.

I agree, "Shadow" is a bit odd. He's not doing anything illegal as the samurai sword is made out of foam, but he could become a target now that he's been on television.

That had crossed my mind, too.

I too found "Shadow" a bit odd, but he means well i suppose, although if i didnt know who he was he would scare me to death !  I expect now that he become well known in his area the yobs will be looking for him 
That was good you got a refund from Boots, El, they are known for good customer service, a pity tho the person at the till didnt notice at the time. We were in Boots today , they do nice sandwiches

I'm still being good, although it doesn't seem to be making a lot of difference on the scales.

It will tho, sometimes you think you arent losing anything, then all of a sudden you have lost a few pounds. Stick at it   I havent looked at the scales yet, but i feel i have lost a bit. Its my fat tummy i want to go !

He is going to see Tiesto (a famous DJ apparently !) , tomorrow at Ingliston, it will be a mudbath if this keeps up 

I've heard of Tiesto, middle son likes that kind of music.

He better behave himself . I have went thru every danger with him from drugs, pickpockets, too much alcohol etc etc. Tired of my own voice, so is he , hence he has gone out.

I would be really unhappy if the shadow was my man, I'm sure he is going to be a target now, he's well meaning but misguided I think.

Its a nuisance when you get your timings mixed up, is there a 5 + 1 at all?  Mind you with the wonderful show they are giving us this year its not so much of a loss.

 

What sort of costume do you think Mr Yogi would prefer?

Looks like another day with sunshine and showers, particularly this morning, should be better this afternoon here.

 

I hope I haven't started a craze for dressing up as a ninja or a kunoichi (that's the official term for a female ninja) 

 

You may want to record tonight's drama Page Eight (BBC2 9.00 to 10.40) being on at the same time with CBBC. It's a drama set in MI5. Although it is a spy thriller don't expect hyperactive action but high quality writing and acting. High quality cast lead by Bill Nighy and Rachel Weisz. Also Michael Gambon, Ralph Fiennes and others. I wouldn't be surprised if this will be in the running for BAFTAs.

 A quick hello, getting my son organised for his Tiesto show, be back later 

Good afternoon all.

Squiggle and Skylark, I have to tell you that (apart from his beautiful blue eyes and long curly lashes that women would kill for) it was Mr Yogi's sense of humour that attracted me. He is really quick-witted and has the ability to tell a story in such a way that everyone laughs until they cry. He's a one-off.

El, don't panic on the ninja craze, there's no chance of me donning black lycra ninja stylee.  I'll record Page Eight, it sounds right up my street - thank you.

Summer, glad you had a great time at the party. Sounds like your friend is at that blooming stage of pregnancy - lovely. Have a good day with your mum today.
