I think I'll give the pink socks a miss .

 

Summer, Ofgen are responsible for regulating the energy suppliers which is why they are carrying out the current (pun not intended) investigation.

 

At present it's a nice sunny day but it's not expected to last, but then yesterday was forecast to be wet here and it didn't rain at all.

Thank's to Yogi's posting I've realised that replies in replies are now nested like this so it is now clear who has said what.It's a good change.

Good morning everyone, I don't think I'm awake yet because those nested postings seem more confusing than they were before - wanders off to have another cup of tea.

I do find their symbiotic, twinny relationship very interesting.

They are in their own little world aren't they Yogi, and their personalities are so different.  John is definitely the leader and Edward seems to have the sweeter personality, in the titles Edward's smile is so sweet.  I think they are bringing out my grandmotherly instincts.

I saw that advert what's it all about? - asks a bit nervously it sounds gruesome and I am very squeamish

Ohhhhh nooooooo I don't do gore thank you for warning me, I am much happier climbing on the Coach Trip than watching gory bits.

 

I have spoken to my grandson, his wrist is better than it was but he says his hip is technicoloured with bruising and hurts like mad, he has to be careful when he coughs so it must be very painful.

Good afternoon everyone.    Just a quick visit!!  Had lots of rain yesterday, although not quite as much as was forecast.  Today started out wet again but the sun has made an appearance this afternoon.

Squiggle, I don't like gory scenes much either - I will never forget the infamous scene in Jonathan Miller's The Body in Question shown on the BBC in 1978. Either you will know what I mean or you won't and you would not want me to go into any details at all.

Squiggle, it's a pity that your grandson smokes as that must make him cough  - it doesn't do him any good at all

Hubby says he can't understand why someone like me watches all the murder/crime programmes.

Edit it to add, I hate RL gore/violence, I think that's why Mr Yogi finds it weird that I like the TV kind.

Thank you so much for not going into detail EL, I really don't like to watch anything like that.

 

I know just what you mean about smoking EL and I do gently try to persuade him.  Neither me nor my hubby are (or were) smokers and I really do hate the habit.  His other grandad died of lung cancer so I will keep on trying, but its a difficult line you walk, one I am afraid I have failed at with my daughter

 

I know you will enjoy the wee one's company Skylark, you lucky thing.

Unfortunately I cannot see that happening in the near future Squiggle.  Also we are off to our holiday home sometime over the weekend with No.1 son, his new partner and the grandchildren so, unless No.1 son takes his computer and I can get on it when hubby not around, I won't be about much at al!! 

 

I will continue to pop in when I can but rest assured I do manage to come in and read, even if I cannot post!!  Love you all.

evening I know most of you will have gone to sleep now but thought I'd pop in anyway because I know you'll read this in the morning It's been a beautiful day here, I let the rabbits out all day and they're very tired tonight! My MIL came to get her hair done this avo, it was the full 3 hour, 2 colors, cut & straighten business.. So I spent the morning squeezing in a workout, cleaning up the house and popping a casserole in the slow cooker. We had tea after her hair was finished and all watched a documentary about the kimodo dragons- very interesting species. Now, it's bed time and I'm wondering where the day went lol Hope you've all had a good day, I'd be showing off my bruise too if I were squiggle's grandson! Joyron, we need to get you an iPhone so you can pop in to post anytime for nightowls

P.S. I started a new book this morning; the burning shore by wilbur smith, I do believe it's going to be epic

My youngest son did a SPIN class tonight - said it was tiring. I told him to peddle hard and do some for me.

Me too.

Not that it really matters, as the majority of the HLs feature Jedward, Kerry and Amy. The rest hardly get a look in.
