There wasn't any snow here, though sleet is still possible.
The A417 road at Birdlip was closed for an hour because of snow but that's always the first main road locally to get snow due to height.

8mm of rain so far today here. Just as well it's rain rather than snow as if snow would equate to 80mm.

Slim, I didn't notice much new of interest on the Talking Pictures tv channel during the coming week other than on Thursday at 5.20 in the morning so would probably need to record it. It's a short 30 minutes item called "Tunnel of Fear" from 1956. It was shown on American television as part of "Four Star Theatre".
It's set on a train where an elderly wealthy wheelchair-bound man (Cedric Hardwicke) is confronted by a man from his past out for revenge played by David Niven. It's a battle of wits between the two men, A high rating of 8.0 on the imdb site.
