Has been drizzling here all morning so far El
Which won't help the Exe river recede...it broke it's bank again over the weekend.
Good morning Buddies
Overcast day here turning to heavy rain and a gusty wind this afternoon
Enjoy your day everyone

There's been a bot of drizzle here in the last hour, Slim.
The Environment Agency now have just two alerts in my area, which is a reduction of what it had been.
Hopefully, your river will start receding soon

Sudeley Castle is so close to Winchcombe that it's easy to assume that it's part of Winchcombe, But at one time there was the village of Sudeley. A crowdfunding campaign has been launched to do a dig to try to unearth the village.

Very interesting El
In what way were the actor Joss Ackland, the singer Dinah Shore and the film director William Wellman connected?

The next BT phone directory you'll get put through your letter box will be the last free one. People would be able to buy one in future years.
They will be having a pdf version on their site in due course.

Not as far as I'm aware El...thanks
We have blue sky and sunshine here now...so that should help the river somewhat

Let's hope we're in for the hottest summer months since records began hey El
Notice how the big toe (that nobbly bit at the furthest point in Cornwall) tends to be a different colour to the rest of the county

Good morning everyone
Cold and rainy here, though the rain expected to come to an end later. High of just 6°. Clear skies forecast tonight so a low of -3° forecast.
There's a Met Office warning for snow in my region this morning until 10am. If any does settle, it's unlikely to last very long.
I hope everyone has a good day
