144 of each, Slim, to mark the 144 who died that day, 116 children and 28 adults, the posting was made at 14.02 and was near the top of the page when I posted but is now some way down. The post had a link to this:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-58874233
I had come home from school, the television was on with coverage of what had happened and the desperate attempts to try to find survivors, scheduled programmes having been dropped.

BBC article about a miserly Gloucester banker who lived from 1756 to 1836.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-...cestershire-67577402
Not only may he have been the inspiration behind Scrooge in Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" but his will may have been the inspiration behind the Jarndyce and Jarndyce legal case in "Bleak House".

It's difficult to say whether he should be proud or ashamed to have inspired such a classic story

He would probably said "Humbug" if he still been alive when "A Christmas Carol" was published

Got a suspicious email this morning, one with no message, just a pdf attachment. Something about a bill and "re-new policy".
Email not from someone I've heard from. Email sent to me as a blind copy so the identical email will have been sent to others.
I'm not going to look at the attachment as I know that pdf files can contain malware.

13 here too now, Slim Rain seems to have stopped here though lots of clouds overhead.
More rain forecast tomorrow. The 5th named storm has been named (Elin) by the Irish equivalent of the Met Office - worse weather forecast for Ireland than here.
