Sorry Summer, what do you mean by turners?
Oooh, it's a bit big.
Edit, s'okay, it's shrunk a bit.
Edit: I've deleted the pic as it was causing the page to stretch for Joyron.
I haven't noticed any changing colour yet, but I'll keep my eyes peeled,
You are lucky getting little ones at your door, Summer.
We gave up answering the door, when older ones (who we didn't know at all) started coming round - and they weren't interested in nuts and sweet, just money.
The one thing I love about autumn is the beautiful changing colours of the leaves and shrubs.
yes it is pretty but i prefer spring and summer TBH - I find January /February - so depressing
gorgeous colors in that pic yogi
The oranges and reds are so beautiful, I love them.
When I see autumn leaves and beautiful sunsets, I always wish I could paint.
Sadly, the truth is I can barely draw a straight line - even with the aid of a ruler.

They're lovely.
YES!!
I wish - have you seen my pics of the dogs?
I can see what you mean though - i don't like pancakes - never have from being little - too sickly
No, I haven't posted any today. I meant the other rubbishy ones I've posted.
I love 'em all.
I'm getting sleepy, so I'm going to sign out now.
Catch up with you both soon.
night yogi and summer
Good morning everyone
For Firefox users, there has been a big update to version 6 in the last day or so - on mine it came through automatically. What I have noticed is that I had to sign in on this forum and similarly elsewhere.
Lovely autumnal picture, Yogi , It feels rather autumnal today with a forecast maximum temperature of 13 C here in Gloucester.
This evening the vicar is holding a summer supper as a small fundraiser for charity. The intention is to have it in the vicarage garden, but if the weather is poor in the church hall. Although it is dry at present, it is very cloudy and rain is forecast. Gloucester seems to be right on the edge of the band of rain, so it may or may not get here. At present I don't know which charity it's for, I'm guessing for the African famine.
Good morning everyone, lovely pic Yogi. I love autumn colours, it was always an ambition of mine to go and see the fall colours in New Hampshire and Vermont, lots of maples over there which turn the most amazing colours, reds and yellows etc. There are even Leaf Peeper Webcams where you can watch the colours turn online.
I remember being fascinated by pansies as a child, the little faces, and foxgloves which fitted neatly over your fingers, and snapdragons.
I don't think I had to sign in again EL when Firefox updated, it did it automatically on my PC but it just gently reminded me on the laptop, so I am ignoring it.

Many years ago I saw Hitchcock's "The Trouble with Harry". This is rarely shown on television and is one of his stranger films. It wasn't particularly successful because people went to see it thinking this was a thriller, but were disappointed when they found it wasn't. The film was shot in Vermont in the fall (autumn to us) and so the photography of the film is probably the best thing about the film.
I found this trailer for the film.
Hi all xx
Just a flying visit, have an appointment in town and running late .
Have a nice day

Hi everyone. Weather is milder today.
El, I have updated FF but I noticed my AVG Safesearch is not compatible and has been disabled again.
I think it is great that your church has lots of social and fundraising events. Plenty of things for people to become involved in, if they wish.
Glad you and Squiggle liked the autumn leaves pic, I do agree that they look lovely.
My grandson hadn't heard from the hospital about tomorrow so I phoned the surgeon's secretary. He is scheduled first on the list and they want him there by 8am This is a 2 hour journey so its up at 5 in the morning for me. I don't know whether the hospital has sent a letter which didn't get through but unless I had phoned he wouldn't even have realised its 'nil by mouth' from midnight tonight.
It's a good job you phoned the hospital, Squiggle.
5am start - you'll be up with the larks. I hope it all goes well for your grandson tomorrow and he has a very speedy recovery.
Yogi, according to something I've seen on the Firefox help forum, AVG Safesearch is covered by Firefox's anti-phishing and web forgery protection. I use Bullguard A/V and I had to previously disable its Safe Browsing function for a similar reason. I'm assuming that your AVG virus checker hasn't been disabled.

And ditto from me

No the anti-virus is still fine, it's just the safesearch that has been disabled on FF.
I'm sure the same thing happened with the last FF update and a solution was found quite quickly. Fingers crossed they sort it out soon.
Hi everyone x
Just getting the tea on, i have had a busy day
squiggle, thank goodness you phoned. I hope all goes well for him
Will try to get on later for BB xx
Hi Skylark, catch you later.
Just popped in to say a quick hello/goodbye. I've tried reading the thread but it's "spread" again" Love you all

Hello Joyron, I think its Yogi's autumnal picture which is doing this for you. If Yogi edits her posting with that picture (in the edit reply page, click on the picture, then on the Insert/edit image to the left of the smiley, then click on Appearance tab, then amend the left dimension box to 620 (the right box should change automatically), then click insert, the picture should then fit on the page, then submit reply. I think that should sort it.
I'm off now to that summer supper - have fun this evening whatever you are doing (like tearing your hair out )
Hope the rain holds off and you have a good time EL.
Does anyone else feel the same, I just can't seem to whip up any enthusiasm for BB this time, perhaps it will improve when it starts.
