The Chinese think they're a remedy. Watched it the other night

Bonkers.

Hope you're well and busy El

I'm OK, Velvet and I hope you are too

Over 90% of the rhino population has been destroyed over the last 40 years through the use of their horns in Chinese traditional medicine for cooling the blood, zero scientific evidence of that

The Sky Arts channel has the Basil Rathbone/Nigel Bruce "The Hound of the Baskervilles" (1939) this afternoon at 1 pm. That's been shown on other channels from time to time over the years,
Next Saturday the channel has the second film of that series "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" (1939). Of all the sequels in that series, that's the best of them. Has George Zucco as Moriarty.

Hi Velvet

You and your frog

Moonie

Slim, not much new of interest on the Talking Pictures tv channel during the coming week.
"The Most Dangerous Game" (1932) early hours of Saturday morning at 2.05 was by the same people who made "King Kong" the following year and both feature Fay Wray and Robert Armstrong. Just over an hour long, the second half is much better than the first half and is a lot more exciting. One of those films where it's better not to know what happens beforehand.
A modern remake is to be shown on one of the minor channels in the next week or so but that would seem to be a vert poor film.
