The European Space Agency were due to launch a satellite to Jupiter today. The mission was to see if any of Jupiter's moons could sustain life, not to try to find life but to see if the conditions were such that life might be possible. That would be microbial organisms. The icy moons Callisto, Europa and Ganymede would be those which might.
Due to adverse weather conditions, the launch has had to be postponed

Slim, not much new of interest on the Talking Pictures tv channel during the coming week.
"The Lone Wolf Keeps a Date" (1941) is on Thursday at 16.55.
On Saturday at 21.30 there's "Human Desire" (1954). Film noir directed by Fritz Lang, and starred Glenn Ford, Gloria Grahame and Broderick Crawford". It was based on Emile Zola's novel "La BÊte Humaine". Jean Renoir made the French 1938 film of that title which starred Jean Gabin and Simone Simon which is regarded as a French classic. A good film but is dark.
Good morning Buddies
A dank start to the day here. Light cloud and a gentle breeze with a high of 15° is the forecast
Enjoy your Sunday everyone

Poor chap
I would ask how a tram and a car could collide, but after living in Manchester and seeing the layout of the tramlines there, it's not hard to see how such a colloision could happen

There used to be trams in Gloucester but those ceased back in the 1930s.
There is a low possibility that they may come back:

I don't see them as a bad thing, although costly to build and maintain.
If they were to replace cars being on the road and made safe against anti social behaviour then I'm all for them.
