There's a chance that people may be able to see them this evening but that depends on being somewhere where there's not much cloud and not much light pollution

I don't know if binoculars would make any difference in viewing the Northern Lights (and too much light pollution here)

Good morning everyone
A cloudy rainy day here.
No sign of that "Beast from The East" materialising here on the 7th. May get some snow in the early hours but turns to rain during the day.
I hope everyone has a good day
Beast from the East
Weather madness, Daily Express
Hope you're ticking over El
Thanks Velvet, I'm ticking over the bank statements of the client I've started work on
A certain newspaper seems to have an obsession with "The Beast from the East"
It does seem that the temperature for much of March will be below average, and that some places will get snow but I don't think we are going to get a repeat of the 2018 one (highest snow total was 57 cm which was in Gloucestershire).

I very much doubt we'll get any snow

I think it's the north and east more likely to get snow than the south and west

Here's a piece of music called "Thundersnow!" by Katie O'Hara LaBrie which was written last year:

Very classical piece of music for strings.

Intentionally, Slim, right at the beginning of the score is the instruction "Driving"
Not the first time a composer has used driving music to signify thunder, the obvious one being:
