Morning troops and troopettes. Hope all are well

Today at one o'clock I shall be Japanese - a civilised nation. Mind you Germany ain't bad either but Merkel was too close to Putin. That chicken has come home to roost.

A special hug for someone

All's well here, Velvet and I hope likewise for you

I hope you enjoy your football match at 1.00

I love Gnossienne "by the way "

The old tired Glasgow phrase probably 40 years ago - I'm getting old

Lack of vocalbury.

By thw way, I use that phrase too

There's a scene in that Poirot episode "Five Little Pigs" which is of a boat slowily moving down the river and Gnossienne 1 is used. It's one of the highlights of that outstanding episode.

Regional versions of BBC One to become available on BBC One HD by the spring of next year.

For Freeview users that is slot 101. The SD channel stays on slot 1 and isn't closing down,

For Freesat and Sky users all BBC channels to be ugraded to HD, This means that SD channels will close. The intention is that the SD channels will close down by March 2024.
Those with SD-only satellite devices will need to upgrade those devices otherwise they'll lose BBC channels and also radio channels.
BBC will be giving guidance on this

Good morning Buddies

Cold and now wet here. It’s probably going to last all day

Have a nice day everyone

The rain is yet to start here, forecat to get an hour of very heavy rain about 1.30 to 2.30 - not suprisingly there's a yelloe weather warning for that.

Just as well that the boxes of paper I ordered arrived this morning (2 boxes each with 2500 sheets). As you would expect, accountants use quite a lot of paper
