I wouldn't put Cary Grant and Denzel Washington in the same league

I've senn hardly any of Denzil Washington's films but I don't think he's known for comedy roles. According to imdb his most recent film was him as Macbeth. Lady Macbeth was played by Frances McDormand.  Directed by Joel Coen (he and McDormand are married so she appears in many of his films).

TBF I haven't seen much of his stuff and truly didn't know about his theatre performances....I guess I'm bias, Cary Grant was a bit of a legend

This short film was filmed in 1931 and features a very early role for Archie Leach and made before he was encouraged to change his stage name. He's not mentioned in the credits but you'll recognise him.
Incidentally the sailor who is chewing gum is the only other actor who would go on to have a notable film career - Millard Mitchell. For instance he was the studio boss in "Singin' in the Rain".
I'll only post a link to Youtube as it's not a good film:

Camille Saint-Saens' "Danse Macabre" is a well known short piece of orchestral music which has been used for films and television.
Back in 1922 Dudley Murphy made an experimental film of it. Of course at the time it was silent but he hoped that the music would be able to added to it.
A reconstruction of this was carried out by Ortiz Morales in 2008 but was remastered in 2018.

In case anyone does a search on Youtube for Dudley Murphy", you will come across a 1924 film called "Ballet MÃĐchanique" which lasts 16 minutes. In case you think about watching it, it's very different to the two that I posted here.  It's out and out experimental and a high likelyhood of giving you a headache with flashing images, weird images, discordant soundtrack.
I'm not going to post it here
