Ahh okay

I hope they do achieve the results they are after, I'd be interested to know too.

They say they expect the drilling to take about four years so it will be quite some time before we get to hear anything much
I think the drilling would have to be very slow as if done at speed, that would generate heat which they will have to keep to an absolute minimum.

True
Don't think I'd have the patience to do a job like that.

Just been watching the England v Latvia women's football match. Final score beats the previous highest score by either the men's or women's teams (13-0 men back in 1882 and 13-0 women in 2005).

20-0

Two hat tricks and a hat trick+1

I believe I heard the radio commentators say, the highest ever score was 44-0 but the wasn’t a competitive game

My 2021-22 edition of Tolley's Tax Guide has arrived. Nowadays that's the only tax annual I get each time as it's adequate for my needs, There's a lot of material such as the taxes acts and HMRC manuals which are online on a free basis. I've got those tax guides all the way back to the 1995-96 one though unlikely I would need to refer to the older ones

(not for me as doing brain work before trying to sleep would keep me awake )
That tax guide is a very good all-in-one book on taxes, covers income tax, corporation tax, capital gains tax, national insurance, VAT, stamp duty & inheritance tax and is written in a way which is accessible for accountants and also non-accountants,

Virgin Media television is currently down as is their website. Also some users have also had a loss of internet and phone.

Virgin Media say that they are aware of this and are working to fix it ASAP - their words, not mine.

(my internet connection and land line seem to be working)

I too have internet and landline but no television El

I rang 150 on my landline only to get a message to say they are all busy and to try again later

As does ours...
Amazing isn't it...man can create AI to find little green men on the moon, yet they can't keep a basic internet connection going

The loss of television and the Virgin Media website (so can't get to emails or look at the service status) is across the country. As many people are ringing their 150 that's why it's busy. The loss if internet and phone seems more localised rather than everywhere.
