I am easily confused   I wish you had both heard the singing though it was truly superb.  I wonder whether (as it is a HBO production) it might be repeated later on a BBC channel?

Anyway I am away to read my book, catch you all tomorrow, leaving hugs and kisses for the night owls (you can never have too many smilies )

Thanks yogi & squiggle Yes it's me watching/watched Mildred Pierce- I loved it! Those are some HUGE hedges I've never seen anything like it before! Yogi, I bet Keira & Harvey look gorgeous! MaybeI should swap hairdressing for dog grooming, I do like dogs! Sweet dreams all in here I've left a comment for you in your thread el re the computer, the dirty scoundrels!

Good morning everyone

Squiggle, I found this on Wiki:

It is said that every year, on the anniversary of her execution, Anne Boleyn's headless ghost arrives at Blickling Hall in a carriage driven by an equally headless coachman. But she hasn't lost her head completely in the afterlife—she carries it along with her during her hauntings.

It was voted the most haunted house in Britain in a National Trust survey in October 2007.

Another sunny morning here though it is expected to cloud over.

They do look gorgeous, Summer. The lady in the groomers said she has several golden retrievers that she grooms on a regular basis - but Keira is the prettiest.

I felt like a proud parent.

With your hairdressing skills, I'm sure you'd do an excellent job as a dog groomer.

Good morning everyone. The sunshine has disappeared and we had rain overnight - but the plants and lawns needed a drink, so it's all good.

Got some shopping to do, be back later.

Good morning everyone a bit cloudy here but the forecast is good. Scotland was the warmest place in the British Isles yesterday, I hope it is wall to wall sunshine again later on today for all of you North of the Border.

I love that Keira is the prettiest

I do hope they show Mildred Pierce on a BBC channel (maybe BBC 2 would seem likeliest) because it was really good drama.  I enjoyed it too Summer and I have learned something new, about a coloratura soprano (can sing twiddly bits, I think sums it up quite succintly)

Talking about twiddly bits, this is Sumi Jo singing the Queen of the Night aria from The Magic Flute.

Yogi, do you have photos of Keira and Harvey ?

Lovely twiddly bits in that clip EL.

You are correct, Squiggle. The avi I am using atm, is a pic of Keira when she was still a pup.

El, I have lots of photos of Keira and Harvey (most of them aren't on my compuer yet) but I don't have a clue how to post them.

If you can do a "how to post photographs" guide for me, I will be forever grateful.

Remember, it has to be in very simple steps.

Yogi, the simplest way to post your photos here is once they are on your computer to open Post Reply and use Add Attachments. Click on Upload Files and you get a standard file chooser screen of files on your computer. Select the photo you want to upload, and click open. You need to wait for a message to say that it's loaded and processed - this is a green bar.

Once you have finished and come back to the Post Reply box you should see it listed under the Add Attachments. You do need to put a message in the main reply box. There are other ways, but that is the simplest.

I've got better ones but they aren't scanned into the computer yet. I'll keep nipping son's head until he reminds me how to do it.

When he was posting the photos, he noticed I had referred to him as No.3 son - he was not impressed. He says he is nothing less than Number One.

I despair at myself sometimes !

When son and I were uploading the pics, I was worried that all my files were going to end up on the forum.

Son just rolled his eyes at me and shook his head.
