Amazon announces Astro the home robot:

(not yet widely available, invitees only at present)

It's not exactly Mia or Niska is it...and at that price I would expect breakfast in bed every morning
Useful for some though I would imagine....for the elderly maybe, like the article mentions.

There was a 'Robby the robot' plastic toy on one of Paul Martin's antique shows yesterday El... worth ÂĢ450

Moonie, I see that Lancashire are 171 for 6 in their second innings, still needing another 269 runs to avoid an innings defeat. Play ended early today due to bad light  2 days left of the match but the weather forecast is poor.

They are indeed El

Warwickshire may just get a window in one of the two days left to complete the job

Good morning everyone

Rain has stopped here and it may be a fairish day, tomorrow's forecast is wet.

Moonie, Warwickshire will be hoping to get the last 4 wickets this afternoon, lots of showers there this morning and tomorrow's forecast is a potential washout.
Good luck for your team this evening

I hope everyone has a good day

I hope there is a proper conclusion to the cricket match. The equivalent match last year resulted in a draw due to time lost because of the weather, Essex required 58 runs more to beat Somerset and had 4 wickets left. Both sides had tried to get a result with Essex declaring with their first innings and Somerset with their second. Not a satisfactory end to the season for either side given that wither side could have won.
