A hard film poser - in what way are the film directors John Ford, Billy Wilder and Ridley Scott connected ?
Answer in faint print: they had brothers who also directed films - Francis Ford who directed many silent films before being an actor (he was in The Quiet Man for instance), W Lee Wilder who made quite a number of films though nothing of note, and the late Tony Scott (Top Gun etc).

I wouldn't have gotten that El, but I guess it's not unusual for siblings to fall into the same line of work as each other

There are quite a number of brothers who have directed films but working together such as the Coen Brothers and the Wachowskis (brothers for the first part of their film career for films such as The Matrix trilogy, since then they have had gender transition and are now trans women according to Wiki)

I watched the first Matrix film but wasn't a fan tbh
