I've been doing Sudoku puzzles for years so am also a fan
They are closer to being logic puzzles rather than mathematical. Although they use the numbers 1 to 9 they could be done with say the letters A to I for instance.
A tiny Sudoku puzzle with the rule that there has to be A, B and C in each row and column:
A??
?B?
??C
So 6 cells with a ?. The second ? can't be A as there's an A in that row and can't be C as there's a C in that column so it must be B
A?B
?B?
??C
So the 1st ? has to be C and the one at the end of the second row has to be A
ACB
?BA
??C
The ? at the beginning to the second row has to be C and the ? at the end of the second column has to be A
ACB
CBA
?AC
The remaining ? has to be B
ACB
CBA
BAC

I remember going to London Airport (as it was then before being renamed Heathrow) on the annual school outing in the early 1960s. There was a primitive sort of motor racing game, the equivalent of an arcade game at the time. I had a go at it and got a champion rating

Good morning everyone it looks like the sunniest day of the week today. Beautiful song EL this sort of thing was very popular back in the day. There was a Danish couple who sang similar songs, I think he was minor royalty and she was very beautiful. Can't bring their name to mind at the moment.
