Short clip of a couple of pieces of music by FranƧois Couperin (1668-1733).
The two instruments used are unlikely to be ones you have ever seen before.
The one on the left is a jamba, looks a bit like a double bass but has more strings. The one on the right is a theorbe, looks a bit like a very long guitar but lots of strings,

loved that EL - quite an unusual sound - not heard of a  theorbe  but it sounded lovely

A film poser:
What connects "Spellbound" (1945), "The Paradine Case" (1947), "Strangers on a Train" (1951) and "Vertigo" (1958) ?

If that's too easy for you here's another poser:
What connects "Spellbound" (1945), "The Paradine Case" (1947), "Strangers on a Train" (1951) and "Vertigo" (1958) and no other film ?

Is stumped, even by the ā€˜easyā€™ one
