Went to the local chemist to collect my prescription to find it closed due to no pharmacist. I have 9 days left of meds so not yet critical.

Itâs a good job you have some in hand. Hopefully they will get a pharmacist by Monday El

Hopefully
I think that anyone who is on medications needs to allow for problems like this and not leave things too late as this is likely to become far more frequent than up to now.

With my doctors, in order to be able to order online I have to go to the doctors surgery first of all to get them to allow this and it's next to impossible to get an actual appointment at the surgery. The majority of appointments are phone ones.
I thought I'd pop out to see if my chemist had re-opened this afternoon and they had so I've been able to collect my prescription
When I got home, there was a message from someone I know so I rang him back. I happened to mention to him about the chemist and he said that's the second time this week it was closed. He is local and goes to the same chemist.

Can they not send you an approval form to sign...maybe?

From my doctors website:
"To register for our online services you will need to complete this form and then visit the practice, bringing with you two forms of identification. One of these items should include your photograph."

Similar to what I had to do to re-register with my doctor earlier this year, as my doctor was up in Manchester...a long way to go for a vaccine ...so I went to the surgery with ID...they did it via an open window
BBC article about a man's idea that an ancient machine was used to transport the stones to Stonehenge:

It contains a link to this Youtube clip showing his attempt to make such a machine. There is a gap where the sound is missing.

Good morning everyone no surprise with the weather forecast as it's probably the same for everyone sunny and hot.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Sunny and hot here today.
I hope everyone has a good day and stay hydrated
Sent a client her tax return yesterday - she has a sizeable tax refund due. I had entered her bank account details for the refund that she had given me. As always, I tell the client to check the bank details on the return (to cover myself).
Just as well that I did as she emailed me today that she had made an error in those details (two numbers transposed).
She could easily have never got the refund of over ÂĢ1k

Me too, Virgin media television permitting
I am missing a minimum of 40 channels. After 4 days of trying everything their customer services have thrown after me and the TiVo box they are finally going to send a technician, wait for it, on Tuesday

I have my âsensible headâ on today El
I succumbed to lure of finishing the bottom of my garden El
I have an old dustbin that is now full to the top. So thatâs me definitely finished now until a week on Tuesday when my garden refuse bin is emptied
It is in the shade down there but I was still sweating when I had finished. I am well hydrated again now though
I am a happy bunny now
Moonie, just as well you are well hydrated again otherwise you could start seeing fairies at the bottom of your garden
Here's the old song as it would have been intended to be sung - it's generally done in a mocking way:
