I am listening to Brain of Britain, subtitled Brain if Brains 2021 on the radio. A rather strange question came up. It was, what is a bee fence?

A useful thing to remember if I see a herd of elephants charging down the road towards me. just have to find some hives first .

"Silent Running" is a 1972 science fiction film which starred Bruce Dern.
Not related to the subject of the film, but in real life Bruce Dern is a life long runner and, if things had been different, could have become a professional athlete.

Douglas Trumbull was the director of "Silent Running".
In terms of his work on special effects for science fiction films, you only need to see the entry under Special Effects on his imdb page to realise his importance. Not a lot of films but some of the most famous ones.

I wouldn't look up the 1968 "Candy" film mentioned, Never seen it, don't want to ever see it, isn't a science fiction film, and probably has no redeeming qualities.

I've always spelled "hello" as "hello". But some people spell it in other ways. According to the Wiki article about the word, there are these alternatives:
halloo, hallo, hollo, hullo and (rarely) hillo.

Hullo could be Scots. It's hello though

Moonie, BBC forecast is 28° on Sunday but cooler for Monday. Met Office forecast is 29° on Sunday and also Monday, but cooler for Tuesday. That's still below the official threshold for a heatwave,
