She's actually French (central France), came to England and got a post in Nottingham, later London where she married.

Cloudy humid day here, an area of rain isn't far away so there may be some rain here or not.
So England are in the finals tomorrow - Harriet Dart and Joe Salisbury have reached the mixed doubles final at Wimbledon.

A remarkable catch in cricket yesterday:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/cricket/57785924
A catch has to be within the boundary ropes to count as a catch, if the ball crosses the boundary then it's not a catch but a 6.

The squirrel in that photo is just like the one that visits here to feed, Baby Cyril, though he is not such a baby anymore
When he had gone a much smaller one came and had a mooch around
I have seen up to three squirrels of various sizes in my back garden at the same time
Iâm watching a little of the Tour de FranceâĶthey are just showing La Citadelle de Mont-Louis. Itâs absolutely beautiful
