Another piece of music by Jocelyn Pook. She's worked on a number of films, many of which wouldn't mean much to you being for films on mainland Europe. This one was for "HabitaciΓ³n en Roma" where the dialogue was in a number of European languages, some of which can be heard in the music.
audio only - I would be banned if I posted from the film itself
Spent the morning finishing off some tax returns and drafted an email to send them. I was in the process of ringing them just now to let them know that I was doing this but rang off when there was a knock on the door.
It was the client

Good morning everyone it's a mostly wet day with perhaps getting a little dryer towards late afternoon.
Enjoy your day everyone
Good morning everyone
Cloudy here, may get lots of showers.
I hope everyone has a good day
BBC article about the volcano in Iceland which erupted earlier this year:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/sci...environment-57742138
The second clip "Fagradalsfjall: Satellites give us a different perspective to events viewed on the ground" is quite spectacular.
The article goes on to things other than the volcano so the later clips aren't volcanic.
Good morning everyone
Its a nice start to the day here. A little sunshine but not long ago it went as dark as night. No rain fell
Rain is forecast for later though
I did a little woodwork outside, some routing. Very satisfactory
Have a lovely day everyone
Afternoon troops
Hope all are well. I'm still waiting for Nicol Williamson to load the Bofors Gun. Class drama. Play.
He can fire at No. 10.
You too
Hi Moonie and Velvet
I hope all is well for you
It's been a heavy day with client work.
Tried to file a tax return for a client with my tax software. It was rejected due t a cryptic message relating to irmarks. An irmark is an internal reference used by HMRC to distinguish between tax returns. My software has a different irmark to the one HMRC have on their system. When doing this client's tax return I discovered that the figure for state pension HMRC have on their systems for 2020/21 was wrong and was the figure for 2019/20. I suspect there's a problem with HMRC computers in that for some tax payers the records for self assessment weren't updated from 2019/20 to 2020/21. That would explain why the irmark doesn't match.
In the end I have used HMRC's own tax filing system to redo the tax return and to file it. It remains to be seen whether it goes through correctly.
I thought I would ring HMRC to alert them to what I found. After waiting for some time, I got through to someone, told him what I had found. He then said he would put the phone on mute whilst he had a look.
After some minutes, the call terminated at his end. Pointless ringing back as the likelihood of getting through to the same person is remote.
In the midst of this I go=t a phone call from another client with answers to the queries I had sent her - that call lasted 45 minutes.
Also popped out to drop off a prescription request and the doctors and to go to the local Co-op to get some milk etc.
Sometimes it's doesn't work. It's "the test" of the day. I had one earlier.
Crackable
There's always a solution

Microsoft had to release an emergency update overnight due to identifying a security risk. I got such an update first thing today - the update is in KB5004945 for Windows 10, a different update number for other versions.

Good morning everyone
May be the first day this month with no rain here though there is a risk of scattered showers.
Moonie, alien space ships which are the size of planets, - sounds like science fiction
I hope everyone has a good day

It's hard to believe the impact he would have from the 15th century and rightly so. Unreal.
Have a good day ye all and hope you're sorted El

Da Vinci was a genius in so many areas of knowledge, Velvet
Thanks, Velvet and I hope you have a good day
He sure was
I dunno if it was even art - it's so far beyond it. Owning a DaVinci I might get. I dunno if I could handle it though as a mere mortal.
I remember going to see The Wallace Collection in London.
Kelvingrove's Glasgow Boys a few years back was staggering. I dunno how they insured that.
Good morning everyone
Its a bright sunny start to the day here. We may have the odd shower as the day goes on
Have a great day everyone

There is a programme on one of the television channels called Building Da Vinci in which a group of American carpenters/special effects people build some of Da Vinciβs famous weapons, to actual size. The huge crossbow that fires enormous arrows/missiles and the round thing that has multiple cannons with a wooden canopy and wheels so it could be moved about from inside
