Good morning everyone
Its wet here but the sun keeps popping out. The forecast is for heavy rain changing to thunder by early evening
Have a good day everyone
Moonie, I hope any thunderstorms in your area aren't too bad
Less risk of any thunderstorms here today than yesterday's weather maps were indicating.

Thanks El
I hope you are thunderstorm free
Yesterday we should have had thunderstorms. One clap of thunder, well in the distance and very little rain all day
So far, not much rain. Some sunshine. We shall see what the rest of the day brings

Listening to the cricket commentators on the radio. They mentioned that the Cheltenham cricket fortnight starts tomorrow.
They then mentioned the style of the buildings in Cheltenham as to whether they were Georgian or Edwardian.
Both wrong, they are Regency

The Regency Era was between 1811 and 1820. That's the period when George III was considered unfit for rule and his sons acted as Regents until he died. The buildings in the centre of Cheltenham were built at that time.

How to create a quoted reply in a different topic. This works for computers but I don't know if it would for mobiles etc.
Step 1 Do a "Reply with Quote" and enter your reply as usual, but don't click on "Post Reply".
Step 2 Whilst in the "Add Reply" box click on the "< >" (Source code) which is the last item on the bar of icons.
Step 3 In the Source code box, highlight all the lines and press Ctrl-C to copy those lines. Close that box (makes no difference if you click OK, Cancel, or the x in the top right corner) to return to the "Add Reply" box.
Step 4 Don't click on "Post Reply". Instead come out of that box to the forum by clicking on a link outside the box such as "Big Brother UK" at the top.
Step 5 Go to the topic you want to post the quoted reply and go to the "Add Reply" box on the topic.
Step 6 Go to the Source code box via "< >". Paste the copied lines via Ctrl-V. Click "OK" to return to the "Add Reply" box. You should see the quoted post and your reply. Then "Post Reply".

Very very dark sky here and torrential rain. There's a car which has stopped on the other side of the road with the driver still there, Could be waiting for the rain to ease before moving on.

Have a lovely day everyone
There once was a man named Lear
Who brought us plenty of cheer
They've found some new verse
But to make things worse
There's no link to it, I fear.

El, the first version was quite beautiful but the second version was the most haunting thing I have ever heard and bought a tear to my eye. Thanks so much
Having listened to both versions of that song I have come to conclusion that the first version is the âreverseâ version and the second âversionâ is the proper version
I have looked up the lyrics too
